Corinthians 11:4–16, where St. Paul writes:

Any man who prays or prophesies with his head covered brings shame upon his head. But any woman who prays or prophesies with her head unveiled brings shame upon her head, for it is one and the same thing as if she had had her head shaved. For if a woman does not have her head veiled, she may as well have her hair cut off. But if it is shameful for a woman to have her hair cut off or her head shaved, then she should wear a veil. A man, on the other hand, should not cover his head, because he is the image and glory of God, but woman is the glory of man. For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; nor was man created for woman, but woman for man; for this reason a woman should have a sign of authority on her head, because of the angels.

:lolsy:

That paragraph is hilarious, what sheer idiocy.
I love how it ends "because of the angels and shit"
Fucking wow

As far as the Hijab is concerned, I'm going to side with Crystal, the point was made unequivocally.

The guy in OP is a fool, just because he wants a right, doesn't mean he has it.
That's the whole idea of having rights in the first place, they are allowances.
Anyways if you're an atheist, why would you believe in any kind of natural given right?

In the 60's in the US people like Leary were sentenced to 30 years in prison for a "roach" of Marijuana.

Timothy Tyler just got pardoned by Obama. He was serving a life sentence for LSD (the 3 times law).

I don't consider those people "fools".

Is someone a fool who gets kllled in a robbery? After all, the world is full of thieves and murders. -- They should have known???

The people who commit those things are the evil -- not the people who are the victims!!!

Easily the most semantic argument ever to be argued here.

There are large differences.

) Publicly criticizing Islam in Wahhabi Mecca, is an entirely futile and suicidal endeavor
He's not getting high and his statement will not be heard

) Claiming to have rights he clearly does not have
Especially as an atheist, where is this supposed natural born right coming from?

I hate saudi arabia, I was just watching a documentary on it, and its founding.

at the airports there they have drug detection machines that use swabs like the bomb detecting machines at american airports.

The machine is so sensitive that a british guy got 4 years in a saudi jail for 0.003 grams, smaller than a grain of sugar, found in the tread of his shoes. Thats right, the guy stepped somewhere where someone else dropped some weed at some point and got thrown in jail.

Another guy got arrested for 3 poppy seed crumbs from a bagel that fell off onto his lap.

Saudi Arabia, America's biggest corrupt ally taxpayers.  Look into how much money goes to them and how they use it.  This trivial news is nothing to the big picture and what they do.

I see you're not anti-war. Here is a person who is non-violently risking his life for his beliefs, while the war against Saudi Arabia that you advocate would likely kill mostly civilians and children. In any case, you're obviously only in favor of risking your life when it's something YOU believe in.

I don't know why I'm responding to you, but listen here fool:

"Rights" are not tangible objects, they are concepts.

The dumbass mentioned in OP is an atheist. Without a god to set down an objective ethical system, the only one which could exist is cultural or governmental (again, because "rights" are not tangible objects, they are ideas). If you don't know anything about that part of the world, such a right is not inherent.

It doesn't matter how entitled you feel, no one who matters cares.
They're not going to listen, hence he will not be heard.
