Here is day 2 at 20°C. Strong and also fast, faster than Golden and King, but not as aggressive as Summer.

The detached mycelium continue to grow and gain in strength.

Hi, I search at the vendor's website but i don't find information about the fructification temperature of Tarragon Oyster. I just find this: "Produces bi-annually in spring and summer". Tarragon Oyster have the same temperature range than Pl. ostreatus or prefers warmer temperature? Do you have more informations?

You can find the info in the Shroomery database for oysters here. Top of this page are drop down menus, Mushroom Info.
Colonization: 21-27°C. Primordia: 18-24°C. Fruits: 21-27°C.

Here is day 3. I can now see some genetic variation in the out growth, still its a very impressive speed for 20°C.

No signs of any common type of mold, no obvious metabolites either.

Thank you for the information, I had forgotten that it was in GGMM.

Here is day 4, at 20°C fully dark. Personally I prefer the grow up style, it grows much stronger than mixed spawn.

Nothing bad to report, still clean of mold and metabolites.

Here is day 5, at 20°C fully dark. I'd say its about 75% colonized, however it requires consolidation, potent substrate.

No mold, no metabolites, no bacterial avoidance, no toughened or armored strands.

Got more vendor grain spawn, mixed and ready to rumble.

Leaving it to colonize, fully dark.

Here is day 6 of Tarragon oyster on T-Tek. No lid modifications, no mold. Time to consolidate for 6-8 days.

T-Tek working as intended, growth much stronger than expected, no bacteria. Tarragon oyster fruits very soon, undecided which style to use.

Looks like consolidation is not going to take as much time as I first thought. Closer to 6 days before fruiting.

Nothing bad to report, not a single issue, everything is going as planned.

After looking at the surface today I decided to fruit them. Tarragon grows visibly like its brother Golden, but stronger.

As you can see no mold, and substrate colour change due to digestion.

Turns out that red colour was my camera and sunlight, you can see it here. Disregard the comment about substrate colour change.
I was going to use the all natural fruiting tek, but then decided to use the same method I use on Golden oyster. A bag, and another container, with added clean water. The colony container is placed in the middle.
For those who followed my Golden oyster tests, you would have seen this before. No need for misting, it will auto humidify due to evaporation.

Simply roll down the bag to fruit the tubers. Mist lightly when producing fruits.

Thanks Gr0wer, everyone is being really good with these dowels. I'm sorry for the vendor related issues, hes sorting it.
Side note, Tarragon is near extinct (rare). Worth $$$$$$$$$$$ in the US.
