Both mushrooms were picked near Traverse City Michigan, in the Northern Lower Peninsula. Picked today, Sept. 3, 2016 at a camp ground, with a lawn opening among the forest, with sparse trees in the opening.
Mushroom A
The little white bulb on the right, may or may not be the immature version of this reddish/white mushroom. There was several of those white buttons growing nearby this red/white mushroom so I included it in the picture. I want the ID on the fully grown mushroom!

Habitat: Lawn in a campground, under a red pine tree.
Gills: White gills, I tried knicking the mushroom and no milk came out.
Stem:
Cap: Depressed
Spore print color: I'm newb, no spore prints!
Bruising: It seemed to bruise mild light reddish. There was a light reddish tint in the stem.
Other information: I believe it is in the Russula family. At least my mushroom book seemed to categorize it there!! Has that splotchy red on the top of the cap. Was growing near mushroom B, maybe 20 yards away.

2016 was a good year, +5 lb of Morels, and I ate 8 new species of wild mushrooms: Herecium, Chanterelles, Black Trumpets, Parasol Mushroom, Fairy Ring Mushroom (marasmius oreades), Wild Oyster, Slippery Jacks, Honey Mushrooms (found over 100lb, froze 4lb in my freezer.) Mushroom A is a Russula as you though. Russulas are really difficult to identify to species and often require a microscope.
Mushroom B is in the Macrolepiota procera species group.

Thanks for the ID help!
I just looked up the material on that 2nd species, it was an edible. I was looking for edibles.
I just want to build up my knowledge of local Michigan mushrooms that I can eat, so either I can become certified one day, or just enjoy some when I am sure I am avoiding the poisonous look-alikes.
Thanks!
