MORE HARMFUL THEN TOBACCO, they have it classed same as Heroin! As for two types of addictions, there are none, theres use, abuse and dependence on something! Dependence being alcohol,H,Pain meds,Xanax meaning illness following stopping will require redosing to avoid it! That illness/seizures can threaten life! Then there is cocaine which desire to use more (craving it) no illness, no worse than a gambler not wanting to stop while in the moment (thats abuse), the weed smoker regardless of volume used is not an addict by any means, he will have depression if he stops (no different then taking away sex/money or anything that brings pleasure, but its a desire to USE there is no addiction, same as shrooms, and all plant based psychedelics... I do not mention RCs (which include meth) because I do not see them as drugs I see them as a sickness because the criminality of drugs, stop the drug war, the RCs dissappear for plant based pleasure!

Could not have said it better, I couldn't agree more, When you look at the level of production in the US through the mid-late 80s you see a work ethic that fueled the greed of American corporations today and a huge part of that was the short window 79-87 of cocaine being generally accepted then, the users were super productive, due mostly to the high 24/7 but to support that high/lifestyle, sadly CRACK gave cocaine a bad name, the crime that followed crushed that era. The drug war is what creates the craze/price/criminality. Take away the black market and regulate/tax it and the prison/murder/violence/poisonings/OD all change for the better! Once its legal and affordable by all(due to being legal) the desire/binges get in check.. The gamblers in states with legal gaming are not the issue, its the states that do not allow it that have people going crazy when given opportunity. Like students in catholic school who become lunatics at 3pm, because they have been "locked down" too long in school, tell someone NO/ they can't,and they desire it more! In most places in Europe anyone can buy alcohol, its not legal but kids can buy it, the kids do not have drinking problems like in the US, why do you think that is ? During Prohibition in the US, NY was a state that didnt follow the fed policy and was the state with the least violence/alcohol poisoning in the US, the rest of the country was basically drinking rubbing alcohol to get there high, and killing each other to get it!

Kind of funny our "heroin" epidemic didnt start until we invaded Afghanistan. The taliban strictly forbid poppy cultivation. Now field upon fields of poppy are produced. Even iraq has a heroin epidemic. That would of never happened if saddam was still in power. Not saying he was a great guy, but we put him in charge of iraq. He'd still be there if he didn't want to fuck with the petro dollar. Now 15 years later, thousands of lives lost in a useless war, the lands we occupy now are poisoning our population with heroin. Thanks government! This in turn funds the dea and our for profit prison system.Smells fishy to me. How is it that most of the heroin, with the exception of mexican black tar, comes from a place we occupy and want to spread our lovely "democracy". Those people dont want democracy, and they need to be ruled by an iron fist. Look at the shit hole the american government has created in afganistan, iraq, and by our funding the arab spring. American politics need a complete revolution.
