Red Spot
    #2360863 - 02/20/04 09:11 PM (13 years, 6 months ago)

I have started to see red spots (like mold but red) slowly start to appear in my jars. This is strange. I have never seen it before. It is a very small spot, but very interesting. What could this be? And what should I do to remove it?

Danger will robinson! Sterilize those jars, throw out the substrates, and try again...

Prolly is mold; some are, you guessed it, red. Lipstick mold perhaps??

Don't see how you propose to cut off spots in a sealed jar. Sounds desperate and very risky.

Play it safe and just give 'em the heave.
