How long might you survive

You've been driven out of your home by a zombie apocalypse/gov't crackdown/pandemic/earthquake/disaster. You pack up your vehicle (if you have one) and head for the nearest wilderness area. Your vehicle breaks down near your destination and circumstances require you to continue on foot with whatever you can carry.
How long do you expect to be able to live out in the woods?
Apologies if this thread is misplaced. This seems the closest the shroomery has to a preparedness of survivalism forum.

How near is near?
Are there zombies in the woods?
Are we alone or do we have Bear Grills Les Stroud with us? (...the former would probably die shortly.)
Assuming the answer is no on zombies and that said destination was a stronghold or a cabin or something with supplies and such I'd say most of us would live till said supplies ran out. And then it's a matter of which woods one is residing in and their knowledge on foraging.
Many variables OP. Many many variables.

Though in my situation, if alone, I might make it 2 weeks, maybe up to a month or so, because I don't have a stronghold with supplies. Nor do I have a bug out bag. Shit I don't even know where my first aid kit is.
Which I only realized after slicing my thumb open last week. Yeah I probably wouldn't make it too long. I'd like to think I would, but if I did it would be 99 percent luck and 1 percent skill.
I'm a pessimist so I got that going for me too

in this scenario, i would have the skills to make shit happen. first and foremost, i am a mechanic, so breaking down wouldnt be a life threating deal, plus i am proud to be a gun owner, and i have about a months supply of different meals around.. so if i couldnt find anything to shoot to throw over a fire, i would have that.
i think i would survive fairly easily

im in the desert so probably not long. would have to be in the spring/fall months and be very lucky with water. i have some dogs that would be good at catching rabbits that would be a plus. mostly i would just be fucked. too many people here to survive if anything serious happens.

I think I'd Probably last a few good weeks, depending on where I am, if it was my local area I'd have a good chance of surviving through living of the land.

I am working on relocating to the a place in the high desert that would offer a much more viable chance for survival if things happened. Would love to get a place with a well but I don't think that will be in this current budget.

You could last indefinitely or be dead in one night, depending on your survival skills, what little equipment you had, and the environment. The basics are fresh water, avoiding hypo and hyperthermia and in time, a food source. Eventually you probably come against disease, and in many cases surviving it depends on how well your other needs are being met.

went chasing caribou last week with my relative. planned for a quick day trip so we had a couple sandwiches and coffee and a little bread and a few tbsp of salt. Took the boat across the bay and saw meat in the hills, spent all day tracking and it got late so we decided to stay one night in a small cabin up the River to try and catch em coming home in the morning. Next day no meat, and the water was too rough to cross, we got stuck up there for four days, no food, we ate it all the first day. Met some friends who shared a little pancakes, rice. set their net and got one good salmon to share. We found mashu (musoo- Eskimo potatoe) and dug up about 5 gallons in a couple hours, found patches of wild onions, dormant and bulb-less but good in the middles. Picked two gallons of cranberries. Caught three muskrats. We ate raw mashu and crow berries and slow cooked muskrat with wild onions and cranberries every night. Some gourmet shit. Last day our wives sent a friend with a bigger boat up looking for us, with food and extra gas. We sent home the mashu and most of the cranberries. We would have been just fine out there, if our boat broke down or bad weather hit or the River froze up quick and we couldn't get back and no one could reach us somehow, we realized we were survivors. We are both experienced in these situations, and this was not our first adventure together. We had 900 bullets, 6 different sized rifles, trap line, tarps, a cabin with a stove and tools, a clean drinking water source, a canoe, a slough full of muskrat and the entirety of the tundra, the River, the hills and the mountains to ourselves. The land was ours. If we had to, we would have lasted the winter there. Last day caught 5 rabbits while we we're waiting for the water to calm enough to cross. Been eating rabbit all day.
Don't underestimate yourselves, get your shit together and start practicing, it won't be long
One good rabbit, or a few squirrels, or ten mice, or one fish, and a few handfuls of forage would keep you alive for a long time

No some of us get lucky and get run over by trucks or crash our Harleys. If it's disease I hope it's quick, and if it's not I have no plans on sticking around.
Actually what I meant in the original post was the usual respiratory stuff, cold turns into flu, bronchitis or pneumonia, which they almost always cure in a hospital, unless you're real old, but if you're laying in the woods, you need your other basic needs to be met to have a good chance that your immune system will fight it off.
