Ive been wanting to experiment with straw in my hpoo but havent een able to find the right kind only the thin straw pine needle lookin stuff(much less cut colden straw). I was shopping at wal mart and ran into this, i was wondering is this the "good kind" of straw people are refering to? Becuase they also refer to a "bad kind" Should this do the trick?

I wouldn't trust it IMO. Maybe others have had luck, but it's Walmart. Who knows what it was treated with.
I might be jumping the gun...and if I am...someone can poke me out.
But.....
I'd much rather go with a more 'Not enclosed and shipped by a massive corporation' straw.

Its just straw, plain and simple. Its cleaner and kept dryer than farm straw. Ive used it for years without a problem.
The only down side is the price.
When you soak the straw, be sure to add a cap full of dish soap. It is a surfactant and will help get rid of the waxy coating straw has and penetrate it better.

A big ass company concerned with profits isn't spraying extra cost on shit straw
