First Agar to Agar Question

So I am going to do my first agar-agar. As you can sorta see from the pic I have three growths going on one plate. I'd figure to take the best piece from each one and put on three different plates.. or should i just use a piece from the best growth only?
the question is noobish but since its my first time doing it im curious if taking a cut from the 'smaller/weaker' growths are a waste of time.

I usually just take from the best outside sometimes I'll take three or four off different sides if it's MS you have thousands of strains or more going on a tiny transfer ... also if you use less nutes you get rhizo which can help pick out better strains what kind of agar ?

Yah its MS(texas goliad..doesnt matter i know) using pasty plate tek. has worked wonders with ms-agar-grain-grain.
I just want to do it right with this one. same MS from my jars that were colonized in 11days so i really want to save this one!

Those are cubes? ... I do mea and pda I always cut a gram or two off my malt or potato flakes so I don't get tomatose growth every transfer and lower nutes help get pins on the agar also less agar in the plate I had a mazzie plate with like 6 pins and a bunch of knots they didn't finish but it's cool to get them ...after my transfers I just let those sit a couple weeks and bam pins

I wouldn't risk contaminating the jar for that just cause its rhizo there's nnothing wrong with tomatose it's just all fuzzy and harder to see growth ... I've seen sometimes on here that alot of rhizo in jars can be a sign of bacteria but IDK if you only have that one type going on agar that's good means you can dedicate your time into doing way more transfers and try to get some good isolates but don't waste a bunch of time you know just keep the strain going I have 6 types going and its a Bitch haha

Obviously you want to take a transfer from a more vigo. us growth if you can see it, but from a germination plate just try to take from the cleanest looking growth furthest from any contams - white mold colonies or bacteria blobs
I would onlu take one transfer from this plate. Get a clean culture going

I just inoculated 2 agar short jelly jars with P. Cyans syringe. I also inoculated 2 jars with blue oyster mycelium. I just read one post that says to keep the p. cyans agar at 86 degrees for 7 days...that sounds hot to me...but im new..another post says to keep the p. cyans inoculated agar media at room temp in a dark place....Can you shed some light on this for me? I did all in a home made glove box and kept it the whole process sterile as possible...than you
-------------------- I have picked wild mushrooms for over 30 yrs. I built a grow room for mushrooms in the early 90's and grew oyster mushrooms with great success for the first attempt. Out of 20 bales i only had to throw 3 out because of contamination. Now i want to grow again. I currently have King and Blue oyster mushrooms in the GC. The mycelium is going nuts. It is growing through the cardboard boxes i used. I also have some in plastic bins and one container growing on cardboard. In two containers the mycelium is like cotton and over an inch tall....
