Who ever made these books for the show is a creative genius.

I fucking love that film.

5 bags of popcorn and 5 cups to pee in when you get scared.

Not LSD, you can't get addicted to LSD, it was built by scientists.

I have this on my to watch list, probably give it a look tomorrow.

I like horror movies, but it seems hard to find good horror with decent acting and an interesting plot which is not just hack em up.

This movie is what you want. It leaves a lot to the imagination. The full form of the babadook is never shown in the movie (i mention this because any lesser movie would show it in the fucking trailer )

That pounding.  Cops scare me the most.  Seriously, my brother played a trick on me that I don't think I can ever forgive him for.

Was in the bathtub and he knocked, saying the police was there for a warrant.  Got out all prepared and he laughed at me.  Fucker.

Another time on a different note a cop came while I was stoned and watching the Shining.  Day time, heard his pounding on the door and ignored it. Went to the door and heard his police radio with cop talk not about me.  He was here over a warrant over a unpaid speeding ticket.  He went away.  And I enjoyed my movie.  A lesson to some in this country.

Hearing scratching on tile or hardwood floor freaks me the fuck out. We had 6 dogs growing up and i was already a constant nervous anxious wreck. Well a couple of the dogs didn't get along and when one fought the other they would all jump in and it turned into a fucking bloodbath.

Our dogs WERE and are family. I would take a knife for my dogs if it meant i could survive and they don't have to die. Nothing hurts more than seeing my dogs in pain.

But anyway, yeah the scratching noise when they would get into a scuffle stuck in my head like a veteran with ptsd (hell i may honestly have ptsd). When i moved out my roommate would drop or spill something in the kitchen, i would sprint there fast as fuck yelling at the dogs "HEEEY NOO--oh sorry man" freaked my roommate the fuck out though.

But in terms of what scares me in film? Well i think the scariest horror movie isn't even scary. Just something that makes you feel slightly uncomfortable.  Just enough that you think about every so often in t he middle of the night. Just makes you feel... off. Not terrified and screaming, just uneasy and eery.

Kinda like if you see a spider run into a crack in the wall, then you think "how many more could be in there, or where will it pop up next?"
