Location: A lake near central Alberta, Canada (northwest North America).
Spore print color: in progress (will update when print completes)
Here is a closeup of the the gills and stem end:

Cap is golden bright orange with light brown spots, total size about 6 inches across (though a Deer or some animal ate half the cap off already). Gills are vibrant white. Strong stem with a large egg shaped end protruding at the bottom. No bruising noticeable.
In addition to the pending spore print, if you would like any additional photos or closeups please request them I am happy to post more to help pinpoint the identify if you think it's necessary.
Looking forward to your identification confirmation! Thanks.

Glorious.
For future reference, always get clear pics of the base of the stem when trying to identify Amanita to species, the base offers important clues.

It might pay to note that your idea of "safe and magical" may differ very much from most people who have consumed fly agaric. Would definately be advisable to do some research on the effects of these if you're planning on consuming. Just a heads up. Happy hunting!
