i think ur jars are fine to consume.

so no matter what anyone said I would & will still kept them and G2G soon

i've never g2g'd after stone harvest.  that seems weird?

i have g2g'd stones a lot though, I just do it any time after 90%. if stones already started forming, it would probably still work, but after 2-3 months, looking like that, I'd wonder if it was worth the trouble vs. just making new jars.  even with a hood, harvesting the stones in sterile conditions, gathering the remaining grains, and redistributing them into new grains seems like a hassle.

This is my first run with stones so even after reading alot on it, I still can't figure out the best solution to do. Also this jar is only about 18-20 days old from inoculation, it's growing twice as fast as others I've seen lol. What would you do since you have grown a few stones?

oh shiiiiiit!!  i didn't know the jar was that young, my bad for not reading closer. I'm not sure what i'd do

to give you an idea, the jar on left is from 5/8.  P. mex.  lots of discoloration.  jars on right are tamps, g2g'd on 8/16 (17 daysold) with stones forming and no discoloration.

so i'd expect stones at the age of ur jars, but not all that discoloration….so I dunno

Yeah I'm not sure what to do either lol all of mine look that way and are producing hella stones but with alot of discoloration. Wish I knew more on what would be my best options. Should I clone stone, G2G or agar and start more? Anyones advice please post, open to all ideas as I'm clueless on this strain:confused:

I'm positive on the date and later today I'll upload more pics.
Also I've read from RR that by using coffee in the cooking method and everything speeds the process up to 75% growth so instead of 2-3 months for stones, I've got them around 2-3 weeks. I did indeed use coffee and all thoses methods as detailed on another post. I'll see if I can find link.
Also I'll agar a stone and some grain like you've said.:rasta:

Right here this grow was 17 days almost like mine, also where I read RR line about coffee.

i agree, coffee helps a lot. I've only grown ATL7 twice, 2 years ago. maybe they do tend to brown quicker,IDK.  even with the coffee, yours look older than 1 month.

if the stone and the grain come clean, then it would be safe to assume everything went ok, but still would be remarkable for the speed.

have you looked at stone suns pictures?  he might have some relevant ones.

Yes indeed I agree but it's possible from everything I've researched. Also I haven't seen too many because alot of logs new members cant view. I'm only been on here for 2 days lol it keeps saying 12 more days and 10 posts I believe before I can view some things.

-Curious shroomer. So did mine and that's what the brown streaks are from, some other members believed they were contaminated and said trash them lol. I took every precaution for sterilization and did every step as said with all new equipment so I know it's clean. Same process I've done with cub many times before no problems.

You wouldn't have to do that though. I've dug them out of my backyard and used my fingernails to scrub the dirt off of them in the bathtub to clean them up.  They were more or less sterile on the inside and never needed another transfer to clean up.

Cloning sclerotia very rarely has turned into a good sclerotia forming strain.  I agree with others that cloning that brown band that connects them all is the ticket.

So clone some of the brown streak is the ticket. Good to hear. Also how do you think those stones look?
