Postponing pasturization with premade mixture?
    #23600964 - 09/01/16 12:21 PM (7 years, 4 months ago)

Basically I'm just curious if there is anything wrong with having my verm/brf already mixed and in the jars stowed in a sterile tub to be pasteurized later.  I mean it's going to be pasteurized right? Am I missing factors that should be keeping me from waiting too long to run them through?

Can they wait a few hours?  Maybe a day or so?

Are you seriously about to pasteurize verm and BRF?  Seriously?  Somebody quote me and remove my name from the quote or ask him the same question please.

Well for starters the tub is no longer sterile since the unsterilized jars are in there, 2nd moisture content will be off from sitting(depending on length of time), 3rd, they need steriling not pasteurizing for inoculation, so why would you mix it all and jar it if your not ready to sterilize yet?  Im not trying to sound arrogant just trying to help your grow...

Thank you.

Kids always trying to jump the gun.  Don't commit to the action of growing unless you're going to carry each step through in the given timelines.  Half assing shit and putting off important stuff for later is how you fuck your whole life up.

No, I understand.  The moisture content being off is one thing I didn't consider.  Maybe I'm using the word pasteurization incorrectly.  My mistake.  They will be placed in an instant pot for 80 minutes for sterilization.  I have had success twice now with the IP so I'm not worried about that.

Really I'm asking this because I have a friend who had previously asked to see how I do all of this.  I fucked up and didn't mix half of my intended quantity, I mixed all of it.  So now I have it all prepped and ready and was wondering if it was possible to push the other half to tomorrow morning.

He is such a personification of the world at large though, isn't he?  Disliker of inconvenient truths, gives advice where none is needed, then turns around and asks questions, to which he gets answers, but refuses to see.  Poetic almost..

Brf and verm are cheap, either sterilize them or toss it. If they are in a jar already just fire up the PC..... or don't and lose like two whole dollars of brf and verm.

Ya that is pretty pathetic but some people can't take shit I mean on here you would think people would be a bit tougher persay being shot down you could nut up a bit swallow your pride and move on ... I'd hate to see someone in person like that in a game that has no rules being criticized by people that may like him but are harder on his actions he would be run out of whatever organization he was attempting? But I'm just some guy learning myself and don't really care what anyone else ends up doing on here

Spend enough time here and you'll care what a lot of people do here, because it reflects on all of our ability to be able to do what we do.  That's why that growing in their parents house, trying to grow 20 pounds a month, not even bothering to read, fuckin :underage: bullshit pisses people off here.  Don't need morons de-legitimizing what we do even further.  This information is only available here because someone hasn't found a way to make it illegal while making it sound good yet.

Trust me I'm on here all the time and know about good and bad topics I've been hook lined and sinkered on some when you say it like that I take back what I said I didn't mean in that sense but more as in if they fail or not I'm just trying to better my own and help with what I can

Oh, yeah, I don't give a fuck when people fail, but people who fail love to paint it like they succeeded in their minds, then give other people shit advice.  So really, even sucking at growing can't be tolerated to an extent.
