Hey tio I can't live with it the last 24 hrs I've been in my room , I rarely shower , brush my teeth or get out of the house .. except for work. But I've decided today to change my life I will quit smoking weed and cigs ( psychedelic s are OK ) will begin working out and will take the MOOD enhancer called SAMe Google it it's supposed to stabilize your mood. I have been depressed / depersonalisation for over 10 years now .... But today I feel hope today... I can begin to change everything... Tears are flowing down my eyes as I type this.

I feel heavy in my limbs not light got it from 4-aco-dmt and the DXM which is a horrible drug. Dot know if this is all related to lyme disease though and the drugs just triggered it because of that? Anyway it gets better just wish I could be better and focus and smoke weed again.

We all get what we deserve. If we're miserable it is because we do evil. DP is almost necessary in finding God because we're all the same person.

I used to have long periods of dp after quitting weed due to panic attacks and anxiety. The good news: It DOES go away after a while, it's just that the neurons in the brain are stuck in the wrong places have to get re-wired (that's how i explain things for myself). The bad news... It takes a lot of time ( over a year in my case) patience, courage to force yourself out into the world again. I was happy to talk with a great therapist about it, i stayed abstinent, never took any psycho pharmaceuticals and had the support of my family. No more symptoms for almost 15 years now. All the best and stay strong!

I feel that vigorous exercise, outdoor activities in fresh air and sunshine in nature like hiking, and nootropics would all help with this condition.
Have you tried nootropics ?
I feel they would help.
Cryotherapy (ice baths etc) might help too.

You feel detached from yourself or others or both?
Why do you see this as a problem?
I'm always trying to detach more.

So, you see your level of attachment to yourself and others as abnormally low?
What reference are you using for this evaluation?

Its more than feeling detached thats not a good description. Your detached from your self like your emotions including happiness and feeling alive.

Depersonalisation is being light headed all the time 24/7 you can clearly see the change in perception once it happens , you lack concentration and memory and you're always tired, It's kinda like a high but 24/7. It's Dirty kinda high, somewhere between alcohol and ketamine low dose but with zero dopamine
It can also be the feeling of not seeing from thei eyes, not recognizing them self in a mirror, not recognizing their voices. It's really a disconnection
It also comes with derealisation which is proly the most scary anxiety symptom ever, feels like your losing touch with reality, it gets really foggy times goes fast. You can't concentrate at all, Most People will usually think they are in psychosis. But it's a panic attack symptom/anxiety, it's the brain trying to pretoect you from stress
DP/DR is really not something you want. The depression and anxiety the guilt that comes with is just the worst. Plus every time you so drugs that are not depressant (still depressant is bad) but every drugs make you go backward. So for drug addicts like me it's even a harder batlle
For me the journey as been long, 6 months im fighting now, it changed my life completly for the better for the most part. It pushes me and motivates me. For the most part I just go through life like its a battle and don't let it control my life. I just navigate through it and let my body do the work. I have overcame most symptoms. And I fell really great about my self
I'm considering starting citalopram to help me cope with the depression, which is the main symptoms that seems to block me from the next level of recovery
For me this song describes perfectly the pain and feeling of DP/DR.
I feel sorry for myself everytime I open my eyes..
