possible re-use of finished cakes

Does anybody try to colonize jars with finished cakes?
Or anybody use them at all for any purposes?
Ive corn coco verm cakes if it helps

They're dirty, you can't use them directly to inoculate new jars. Maybe toss them in the garden and they'll throw off a few more fruits?

Glad you asked. If there finished break then up and place in a trash bag with some straw. Might get lucky. If they are clean you can always spawn it in slurry form before it fruits

i only tried it once but i put a spent cake in a flower pot mixed with some old hpoo. only sprouted 1 cluster(the ones in my avatar)
Now i live in the city and we have no yards/grass/flowers

looks awesome sorry to hear that, I also live in the city. I tried grow some plants in my balcony but it is too windy and I found my pots on the floor many times next year I will try to build small greenhouse

I am thinking about tossing some of them in the campus maybe all the students reach nirvana at last
