Scaling Up-Grain Sterilization Question

Hello,
I am trying to scale up to a "medium" sized operation. Basically, I want to be able to sterilize 20-40 jars of grain at a time. Possibly more in the future.
Does anyone have a good suggestion on an inexpensive method to sterilize bulk grain? I'm a pretty proficient DIY person.
1)I want to stay away from propane. 2) I'm a little scared of trying to make a homemade 55 gal. barrel pressure streamer. 3)I could use tyndallization, but would rather not, if avoidable.
I was wondering if I could possibly steam the grains in a 55 gal. barrel NOT under pressure. With cooking food, safe bacteria levels deal with temp.AND time., so I thought that if I steam long enough at a high temperature that it could possibly work.
Any thoughts? Are the only two options really pressure steaming and fractional sterilization? Any other suggestions on what I could do, past buying an expensive autoclave?
Any help would be much appreciated.

You could use a solar water heated with a no pressure barrel with tyndalization. My best guess.

Welcome to the Shroomery!
I'd suggest picking up two inexpensive PC's. I've got two 23 qt. Prestos and they hold 10 jars each. If you move to bags, you can sterilize twice the amount of grain per run compared to jars.
If you're intent on steaming, your altitude will affect your steam times. I think 5,000 ft. is the practical limit for steaming - water boils at 202F at that altitude, which I think is pretty much the minimum you need your core temps at.
The plus side to steaming is that you can make a pretty automated system and not have to worry about constant monitoring. Look at Gr0wer's sig for his YouTube channel or check out his posts. The downside is you have long cycle times.
Hope that helps!

Thanks for the responses and the welcome!
It seems like it may be easiest (at least until I'm really ready to scale up) to go the PC route. I have one 23 qt. All American, but will look into the Presto that you mentioned for a second PC.
That thread from GroOer was really good. It might be worth my while attempting something similar when I have time to tinker with it.
I was also thinking of trying to make a Rocket Stove that could pasteurize substrates and do Tyndallization or steaming at the same time. That way I could work out at my garden plot where there is no electricity.
Cheers!

You could buy a 30 gal drum with welded connections from somewhere like Bubbasbarrels.Com and run it safely at or above 5 or 10 psi. You can try steam but for like 24hrs and not for your masters.
