Needed to order some replacement GU10's for my bedroom today and found these. These are the UK versions, and currently only £3.29 GBP, $4.32 USD.
Specs, although I had to dig up the lumens:
Brand: Top-Max Spectrum: 6000-6500k Lumens: 600-680 Angle: 120°
No ultraviolet or infrared.

Here is a comparison of day light (left), and the LED lights (right).

The above specifications should be considered minimum. You can safely increase the lumens and spectrum.
Remember light is for fruting. See here page 48.

Why gu10? Is that a common socket in GB? We have em here on base housing to keep people from using screw in incandescent bulbs and running up the power. They are iust way more expensive. I can pick up 60w equivalent LED screw in bulbs for less than $2 at a local home improvement store.

Any fitting, LED and the specification that's important. Sorry I should have mentioned that.
LED is in front of all other light technology, see here. You can even get LED tubes.

Also mycelium receive more light energy per second from LED's. CFL's blink or pulse, LED's are constant on and instant.
Like for like, LED outperforms CFL by far.

Takes a little know how to assemble, because I'm not sure if there are any commercial units available at a decent price yet, but COBs are worth mentioning.LEDs bunched together and covered with a phosphor layer for even dispersion as well as providing a targeted spectral distribution. Very cost efficient, I made a COB lamp a year ago though, so I'm sure they've come a long way since. Excellent for growing plants indoors as well.

Thats correct Steward, a COB is another SMD (multiple led) unit. The COB will also provide a large angle of spread.
Don't go lower than 120 degree rated.

Agreed even insects are so sensitive when it comes to pulse of 60hz ac is when in comes to rearing them.

Dc leds are effecient. But nothing still beats the natural sunlight.

Plants sure. Which part of the spectrum is beneficial to mushrooms? If a COB was manufactured to be in the appropriate kalvin range and the appropriate spectrum that would be great. Some comparison with isolated cultures would be interesting.

Agreed, that subject would be interesting, spectrum and intensity in terms of yield or richness.

I've concluded both light, heat and O2 are all required by Golden oyster to produce and release spores, see here. It would also suggest that the fruits will have a higher nutritional value, opposed to little or no light.
You can compare my images, rich O2 and light + lots of water (rain), vs, indoors.
Edit: I might start calling it sunny oyster, since it loves the sun.
