New hunter - first haul * 2
    #23596584 - 08/31/16 07:20 AM (7 years, 4 months ago)

Heya,

Had a first hunting trip out yesterday and would like a little confirmation as to exactly what we found.

A larger initial haul was obtained, but we have meticulously been going through the forums here and discounted all those that we were believed to be alternative types.

As suggested, the following information applies to the find!

    * Habitat - Open grass land, mainly in the larger clumps of grass.

    * Location - South Peak District, UK - ~400 meters above sea level.

    * Gills - Dark and wavey..

    * Spore print - Completely failed to achieve this before things dried out.

    * Scent - Less 'mushroomy' than the other mushrooms we found..  can't quite put a name to it.

Thanks in advance for any help - think I could quite get into this!

Xzylocybin: Thanks!  Much appreciated.

Aloe : Yep!  Probably no more than a couple of hours of actual hunting in that location.  But if you factor in the pre-hunt forum research - then significantly longer!..
