Habitat:
Where does it grow? Pine forest in Wisconsin,along Mississippi River

Gills:. Blue
Also the fuzzy purple looking mushroom has pores not gills

Old man of the woods on the right and the other looks like maybe an indigo milky (lactarius indigo)

both are edible and that Strobilomyces is nice and young so might be pretty decent.  a few of the older examples i tried recently sort of sucked.
