Talk to your alter ego, why did she erase her post?

What has that got to do with anything? You were asking everyone what corporate feminism was, I answered you. Have you moved onto asking another question now? Why not answer my question and explain what a marxist metaphor is?

You supplied the definition (which you didn't know either)

Have you  added long distance mind reading to your list of talents?

can comprehend a half a paragraph in 10 minutes

Comprehending the paragraph isn't the problem, it's casting judgements on corporate feminism when you have no knowledge of it but a definition I gave you 10 minutes beforehand.

So what else do i need to know about Corporate Feminism?

And 10 minutes earlier you were asking what it was...

Ask Anna, she deleted her posts. (notice I said posts and not post)

Sorry, but what has that got to do with anything? Pink used the term - that post is still there. Tell me what you understand by the term "marxist metaphor"

I'm going with the odds

What the hell are you talking about?  You'd have to be slow if you can't comprehend what it is once you know the definition.  My only question was the meaning (and what it had to do with the discussion, which you seemed to over look) now that i have the meaning I can compare it to my encounters that i've experience.  Pull your head out my man.

And 10 minutes earlier you were asking what it was...

...and you gave me the definition that you probably found 10 minutes earlier. see above

Tell me what "marxist metaphor" means.

You just want a definition of what it means or do you want to know which one she used?

since she deleted her post i'll list the following:

Marxism - The political and economic philosophy of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in which the concept of class struggle plays a central role in understanding society's allegedly inevitable development from bourgeois oppression under capitalism to a socialist and ultimately classless society

Metaphor - A figure of speech in which a word or phrase that ordinarily designates one thing is used to designate another, thus making an implicit comparison, as in ?a sea of troubles? or ?All the world's a stage? (Shakespeare).

combine the two and you get a Marxist Metephor, Example: The average citizens are the slum workers of our socialist movement.

another would be:

Anna believes in the sucking of capital out of the veins of private corporations to support the masses.

This is fun, you can add anyones name from the far left and it would be not only true but fun as well.

No shit, you kept referring to Annas post which has been deleted.

who's asking a question?

Me. I've asked you it about 10 times now. Still waiting for an answer.

You'd have to be slow if you can't comprehend what it is once you know the definition

Is this how you form all of your opinions? Read a few lines in a definition and consider yourself an expert on the subject? That explains a lot.

...and you gave me the definition that you probably found 10 minutes earlier

Don't judge everyone by your own standards.

combine the two and you get a Marxist Metephor

To paraphrase yourself: "Marxist metaphpors are not mainstream speak and to use it as if everyone knows it is foolish."

No shit, you kept referring to Annas post which has been deleted.

No, I keep asking you to define what you understand by the term marxist metaphor which is in a post by pink and is still there.

Hey PinocchiAlpo, he said he understood the definition, not that he considered himself an expert.

What's the matter, need to get laid this morning and the dishonesty gets your dick hard?

You gotta' have a dick before you can get a hard one.

To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.'  Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence.  Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains.  Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

Okay. This is (yet again) getting completely out of hand. If you children can't play nice, you won't be allowed to play at all. This thread has been brought to the attention of the Admins, and multiple bannings are being considered.

Cut this shit out. No flaming, no baiting, no trolling. If you have nothing to add to a discussion on the topic being covered in a particular thread, do us all (including yourselves) a favor and direct your energies elsewhere.

This thread is locked for a cooldown period.
