Coprinus Micaceus Cultivation Methods?
    #23592347 - 08/30/16 03:24 AM (7 years, 4 months ago)

Anyways I've got a large amount of Mica's that enjoy growing in my area, is there a cultivation method out there for them? To my knowledge there's a thread in the contam. thread that states it's a common contamination during PF Tek cultivation? So this would mean given the right substrate and care it could be cultivated through PF? Could anyone elaborate pls.

Why don't you take a stab at growing them. Maybe set up some
PF jars  and supplement them with old decayed wood and maybe
some forest humus and dirt. Do you have a culture from them? Or
any spores?

I could collect spores from the wild specimens, but sterility would be a little bit of an issue, have to be a clean print.

Just clean it up on agar. If your going to take a print you need to time it.
I have had them print but if your a little late it will all be a liquid mess.
