An Ancient Cactus * 4
    #23591250 - 08/29/16 07:01 PM (7 years, 4 months ago)

Hi guys,
just red this article , wich is really intresting
Basically a 2000 years old San pedro was found well preserved (dried of course)

"An exceptional finding, a 30 cm long cactus perfectly preserved, in a grave of the El Paraíso archaeological site, near Lima. Dated back to 2000 before our era. The cactus had been dried before putting it in the grave (but it is not true that it is the oldest record of the San Pedro, because we know dates reaching the 10.000 years ago, always in Peru)."

just theorically, could one really trip with this mummy cactus?
i Mean, does mescaline fall apart or just "expire with time (a lot of time in this case)

interesting article

well I understand why this isnt regarded such a good cactus forum.

for example

1) you're all refering to them as san pedro :P
a fucking christian name that was forced from conquistadores

2)is consumption jokes, the best you can do??

here's my joke:

nah, this isnt a trichoecereus, is a cereus, look at the depressions between ribs!

In fact, mescaline is reported to be quite endurant to time and stress, and has been found on dried buttons from graves from 7000 years ago...  (not aware of a 10.000 year old san pedro find, I would remember)
