Where do I go from here? Noob guidance needed.

So I've got a few successful rounds of jars going. Wbs nocd with a syringe, one mini mono going on day two. And the jars are doing amazing on week two. I'm having trouble finding my way around the site.
I'm looking for links/trusted cultivator journals to lead me forward-
I want to start with grain to agar so I'm looking for the best posts on that.
Also I'm looking for the best information on producing a clone - if anyone wants to explain to me how to better wade through the info on this site that would be most helpful.
Thank you and sorry for clogging up the boards with generalized questions!

Well, first off, you wanna start on agar not grains. Your jars look bacterial btw. When you go straight to grain with a spore syringe, you will grow whatever happened to be in that syringe. Syringes are notoriously dirty, even from sponsors. Start with agar, transfer clean growth to fresh plates, then do it again. After 2-3 or so transfers, if its looking clean, you can test what you have on grain.
I would say a good starting place for good clean spawn would be pastyplates. I say that to everyone, i know, but it truly is the best place to start from.for a noob thats actually serious about mush cult. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/19208976/fpart/1/vc/1

thanks. Where are you seeing bacteria? It does look "fuzzy" All growth has been gradual. The species is known to be a fast colonizer. Edit: everything is white growth- discoloration is because I can't get a quality pic with my shitty little iPod.

Its the pressed up against the glass look, and the discoloration (that part might just be the pic). Looks thin and kinda wispy too. I would wait to see what others think.

Pirate swazey has a journal that has just about everything trusted cultivator inocuole basically all the older members and pasty whytes easy agar tek if you're talking about taking one of those grains onto agar it can be done but may lead into cleaning it up it takes one drop of spore solution on agar to germinate

And those jars don't look bad but when you see wet grain up against the glass it can be bacterial

They're most likely empty hulls that aren't being taken over and are pressed up against he glass? I haven't shaken at all, when I do - they all become coated after recovery.
There's not tons of rhizo growth, they seem to be mainly by the noc points.

Ya no grease or weird sweat. The last jars smelled just like fresh picked cubes. They were even fuzzier looking

Also I'm using rye next. Just using what I have til it's gone. I've been sneak feeding the birds around here trying to get rid of it.

Thanks friend, The pictures can be deceiving for sure! It's better than nothing though, I suppose.
I'm now looking into grain to LC, thank you for your contribution.

I'm having trouble finding much on grain to LC.
What would be THE BEST way for me to "carry on the legacy" of these first colonizing jars? Money and difficulty aside, what would give me the best chances at recreating this growth?

I would never put grain to LC man thats azking for ickies
The best way would be to open one of those jars in front of a flow hood or SAB and fork a kernel with a sterile scalpel and put to agar. After a transfer or two and your satisfied you have a clean culture than you can put a wedge to LC or inoculate clean spawn to fruit out

Thanks for your input. Any links with comments would be appreciated. The more info I find the more it seems like g2g is the best. Why spawn to agar for more steps?

Because its beneficial to you in the end. When a person is trying to cultivate shrooms, it takes a bit of time to get your myc expanded out to a point where you can spawn to a monotub. If you started out with a slightly bacterial master (which can sometimes slip by, especially if u noc'd up with a spore syringe), then you expand that into 8 more jars. you now have 8 bacterial jars for your mono.
With agar you can see contams WAAAY easier than you can see them in a grain jar. You can let the myc outrun contams and transfer healthy myc to another agar plate and let it grow out (maybe do this a few times) then use it as inoculate. That way you are insured that you have good clean healthy growth.
A) You wasted no grain. B) You wasted no time. C) You have a good yield when you are done.
EDIT: And when you finally have fruits, you are now experienced enough with agar that you can now have the confidence to clone
