Very Unique Trichocerus iD Request
    #23588353 - 08/28/16 08:45 PM (7 years, 6 months ago)

Recently found some great looking cactus to take cuttings from. Was wondering what they are, I'm thinking Peruvian torch or maybe hybrids? The one with the dark black spines I am particularly interested in, thanks!

the one with dark black spines on top of the long blue one is myrtillocactus geometrizans
I would agree that the long blue one is some sort of peruvianus but with such a lovely glaucous color, that's a sweet plant!
and I thinks some PC chunks as well

:whathesaid:

For those who don't know:
Myrtillocactus geometrizans does contain usefull ammounts of mescaline (and other alkaloids).
Sure not as much as most Trichocereus, but two thick feet are said to be enough for a dose.
It grows so slowly it doesn't make sense to grow them indoor for consuming.
But it grows to a massive bush, if you have a few growing in your backyard then hallelujah, you might already have mescaline for a lifetime.

Haven't tried it myself, though. This information I read in a (quite new german) book about psychoactive cacti. I should share more info like this with you I guess..:psychsplit:
