Picking up a bad habit

So for the past probably four days I've been smoking tobacco out of a pipe, I've been suffering intense anxiety and depression because of external life factors.

In this four days I've noticed a quick tolerance to it, and today I only go the notion that I might be getting addicted to it.

This is one thing I definitely don't want, I think in my best bet I should just throw all the tobacco away, and completely forget about it, could anyone give me the best suggestion?

Ditto. I started vaping nicotine couple of days ago. Never smoked tobacco in my life, only pot once or twice a week. At least I'm losing weight.

Tobacco is esssentially useless, it doesnt have a single purpose besides getting you nastily addicted without benefits.
At least not for human consumption. It makes a nice pesticide up in solution.
That's what it is, poison.

So yes, throw it away. Or keep it for unknown reason and don't touch it anymore.
