Pinning jar is not fully colonized!
    #23587015 - 08/28/16 01:50 PM (7 years, 5 months ago)

Best course of actions?  Should I just birth it and crumble away what didn't colonize?  Obviously I would want to fruit separate from everyone else so I don't risk introducing contams.  I mean, what other choice do I have?

Wrong size jars, id let them finish or rinse off the uncolonized spots.

Yeah I have a few from this batch of b+ that seem to have stalled or slowed down by a lot.  My room temp fluctuation sure isn't helping things. :mad2:  I think I have another jar that is beginning to pin and it about 90% colonized.

Interesting...

It's just the jars...not suited for the tek

Oh no?  Are they too small I guess?  I didn't know I could run into complications with inadequately sized jars.

To make matters worse I just birthed that caked and dropped it in the trash while cleaning off the verm  LOL oh well, a quick rinse and one pin down it'll be fine.  I'll put it next to my jars of baby heads.

no the jars are too big. for pf tek stick with half pints.
otherwise they stall or get contams. if you have a PC
upgrade to wbs. its really not that much harder than pf.

Jars should be as tall as they are wide for the pf tek

I'm sure one of the 6 people you're ignoring probably could've pointed you in the right direction before you made the purchase.   Oh well.
