New to growing LW
    #23586852 - 08/28/16 12:51 PM (7 years, 5 months ago)

I recently acquired 2 cacti on ebay and one arrived very quickly and was in great shape. The other one, however, did not arrive so quickly and seems to have had some high heat and doesn't seem to be voting very well. Any suggestions or ideas on how to handle this?

Looks a bit dehydrated but still will survive. Against all instinct do not water for at least another week. Keep it in shady area and then go ahead and water after a week. Let those roots heal to avoid bacterial infections and of course, rot.

And just what IS the LH in the thread title?  If it were Lw I would understand.

Maybe some mod or whatever might think this has now been long enough.

It's still a little wrinkly but it's alive!  Any advice?

That soil looks funky. Way too much peat.

It looks ok, other than a little pale. Maybe acclimatising to stronger light. Do so slowly, over a couple of weeks. Increase exposure by an hour or two every day or so, and not during the brightest parts of the day.

I'm being picky though. Looks fine really.
