Best shampoo and conditioner?

Probably a question for the girls...
I am unhappy with the brand I am currently using (I think its tresemme, their new dyed hair formula). I saw that it looks like Herbal Essences has brought back their rose hip formula from like 15 years ago so I have purchase that but have not tried it yet. I feel like my hair just feels coarse. It may also be time for hot oil treatments.
Thoughts?

Shampoo and conditioner are completely unnecessary and contain chemicals that damage the eyes, skin and hair. If you insist on using them (I don't), I recommend Faith in Nature (you can find them on Amazon) as their products minimize the damage caused by this type of chemicals. They also make deodorant and a shower gel and foam bath that I recommend using instead of soap, if you have to use deodorant and soap at all (I'm engaging in harm reduction).

CREW for men is good. I usually look for cooling products for my scalp. Peppermint is my favorite.
I have long, thick, gorgeous hair, and as a guy I have to take good care of it.
My secret is to not be religious about washing your hair. I can go a week without washing it, usually I wash+condition it every 2-3 days. Depending on how active and sweaty I get. I also only brush my hair in the shower or before I go to bed. I CBF with frizzy and straight hair just to get some knots and crap out.
Moroccanoil makes really good after-wash products. I also avoid after-wash products, and only use them on a bad hair day.
People literally ask me what I do to my hair. And I'm like "I woke up and took a shower, nature did the rest."

If you're not ready to go down the natural body care rabbit hole, throwing some castor oil or coconut oil on your scalp overnight then washing as normal the next morning will make your hair extremely soft and leave it feeling nourished. Personally I've been using baking soda to wash my hair about once a week for years, then rinsing with some diluted apple cider vinegar as a conditioner to follow. Haven't tried the argan oil but I hear great things. Good luck.
