current outdoor cannabis thread

With the summer approaching an end, all of my plants have started the transition into flowering. I was thinking it would be nice to have a place for everyone to introduce their outdoor plants the year, share and ask for advice, and watch the flowers develop.
Lets start with this sour tangie. its the biggest plant i have grown. The leafs and bud structure looks mostly like a sativa, but i believe it has a hybrid super plant structure.
its about 9 feet tall and 7 feet wide. smells great.

If there is interest, ill introduce my other outdoor plants, and maybe some progress updates in a few weeks. Please show us your outdoor projects!

There is always interest in such beautiful plants. You keep them coming man. This is no inconvenience to anybody.

This one is a jack herer X trainwreck. It is very sativa, but lacks its natural structure due to it flowering when i recieved it as a clone and going through reveg. i took some clones much later and they grew out with typical sativa structure. instead it is very bushy with very sativa like leafs and budsites. Mild but pleasant smell. it stands around 6 feet tall.

This one is an Orange crush. it is in a 30 gallon pot. for some reason, it is way further along into flowering than the other plants. the buds look past week 3 while the other plants look like their on week 1. i attribute this to a variety of factors, mostly including genetics and the stress of being in a pot, i think the plant knew its potential and flowered early. Its structure reminds me of an afghani indica, although i believe it is a hybrids. The smell has been really picking up and is a mild sweet citrus. The trichromes are already packing on heavy. the plant, from base of stem to the top, stands around 4.5 feet tall. maybe bud shots to come soon.

That jack herer cross has a really thick trunk. Are you gonna cut it completely down?or leave something for next season?

I dont think i would have much luck leaving them through the winter here in Oregon with the multiple freezes. it might be fun to try out and see what happens.
I currently am making a cross from a clone of the jack herer / trainwreck with a male cindy 99 that i will probably mess with next year, along with some other seeds from my collection. i went with clones this year, but next year i would like to tap into my seed collection.

The orange krush is looking nice today

The Jack cross looks great and the sour tangie has powdery mildew. im not really trying to spray it with anything at this point so im just working on some defoliation of branches getting no light and big fan leaves in the middle of the plant. making some nice oil with trimmings today.

Maybe first thing tomorrow morning after its soaked in the night of the harvest moon.
or if not maybe Sunday.
I realise that genetically, it could and should go for atleast another week. but we are talking outdoor here in one of the most mold prolific areas in the PNW. I already snipped a tiny piece of bud rot off yesterday. The powdery mildew finally left her alone a few weeks ago, but has put all its attention towards the tangie. ive been watching her closely. but rain approaches this weekend. we will see how the big girls handle it. they are not near ready, but i have faith they will stick it out fine. being sativas with untested flowering periods ill almost certainly have to harvest early,as is the usual story with outdoor sativas here, but i would really like to push the bigger plants as far as mid october if i can.

Lookin great man, love the indica leaves. im looking for a good pure indica keeper or breeder right now. i popped a chem dawg and afghani seed to experiment with my next batch. im also considering hindu kush. would love to cross a chem dawg with a pineapple pheno cindy99 and stabilise some indica dominance.

Yeah,I have experienced a bit of powdery mildew and mold too, because of the drenching humidity we have here.
Right now,it's not even raining, and it says the humidity is at 100 percent! What the hell, how is this possible???
I have mostly sativa's,so they tend to be better with the mold than the indica's are.
We just got a nice soaking thunderstorm early in the morning, the thunder awoke me. This is good,as my plants needed it
It's been nearly three weeks since we've had a single drop of rain here, and I can't go out and water my plants. I feared they would shrivel and die if it didn't rain soon!
Mid October is when my sativa's will be finishing up as well man,and I wish you luck with yours
Not a sativa, but I had to show this super phat indica
