Wednesday it's gonna rain: https://www.google.com/#q=weather+arlington+wa
Note: (not going into cow or horse fields)
I have looked around in this town only a little for shrooms i have read up that common shrooms that grow around this time and in Western Washington are, -Psilocybe azurescens -Psilocybe baeocystis -Gymnopilus braendlei -Gymnopilus aeruginosus (Questions): Anyone who has hunted these do you have any suggestions for where to look, what to look for, if this is even a good time to look, and if you know of any other shrooms that i could possibly find in my area and time of year?
If you have any tips for me for hunting in Washington State or hunting in general please let me know
I have done the research and know the basics of what i am doing have read up on lots of things about hunting and identifying I'm not just going out there eating random fungi, I'm playing it safe
All Set Just Need Some Tips And Places To Start Looking

I've read the basics to start looking around older buildings Like, -Post Offices -Court Houses -Parks -Man-disturbed areas with lots of sticks leafs composted into soil
but anyone with suggestions or any tips will help

-Always bring a camera with you on hunts, and take pictures of the mushrooms in situ, including all visible features. Habitat shots are often helpful as well.
-When unsure of what you have found, pick a few healthy, mature specimens that you can bring home and spore print.
-Follow this sample ID request and make proper descriptions of each species you find.
-Be persistent and keep at it, you might need days or even weeks of nosing around before you eventually strike.
-If you're unlucky and don't find what you're looking for, don't make threads in the forum complaining that you ain't finding any. Rahter check the official actives thread covering your region to get updates on what people are finding.
-Good luck hunting!

Best tips is start scoping habitats now n return in a lil over a month. I've been looking for promising habitats since May from Lynnwood to Kent. Also another pro tip when ya do find some, start a cardboard culture n make your own personal spot for the next year. I did that with some ovoids I was gifted n my mycelium is strong in my spot. With any luck I'll have fruits this season or maybe in the spring with little to no real work of tromping around in the rain.....but what's the fun in that?
