It could always be several different kinds of incidental. In fact, a difference like THAT definitely is.

Violet, all of my orissa jars are smoking my gt jars by a silly amount. I generally like GT but felt like trying out some novelty sized mushrooms.

That doesn't tell me there can't be other variables responsible. For all I know, you had a lucky draw of killer colonizers from the Orissa and the edge allowed shakes to help them overtake just that much faster as well. I'm not meaning to bring you down or anything, just know that differences like this are almost always explained away by the variance from one spore to the next, not one race to the next. Orissa is one of the dozens of varieties I've grown and it wasn't THAT different by nature.

Next time around your gt will smoke the Orissa. It's luck of the draw with spores. Judgement based on one grow is silly

One thing is to consider weight as well. Let's say one jar has 2500 grams and another has 2000 grams. By eyeing it, won't be much of a difference. But the lighter jar could be much faster for that reason and not because of badass genetics
