Natural variations still giving me trouble
    #23583278 - 08/27/16 11:47 AM (7 years, 5 months ago)

Mostly I've got an eye for libs now and don't get the urge to pick ones that aren't. It's just the natural variations are freaking me out. The ones with more bottle stems. A green kind of look, the baby ones I've been avoiding cus they are harder to ID.

I also inclued in my investigations the ivory umbrella ones with lovely lilac gills and those brown ones with a brittle stem...cus I bought a microscope woop! I think the only non libs are to the left of my pic.

Other than spore print and microscope any more tips on not picking dangerous look alikes? I think the two I have included are both not dangerous?

Could anyone ID the mushroom in the pick of the sample on paper? To the far left. Long stem, looks a little tan colour in pic but to the eye it's ivory white, like an umbrella, lilac gills, grows in animal fields. I haven't spore printed one yet but I want to Google the  spores under microscope. Seems to be a common one in the UK in lib country. From what I recall it's not deadly. Thanks

The photo is no good, very hard to confirm several of those. Top left one is probably Kenny G, two alongside look like Panaeolus, but can't swear.
