Here's some wonderful piano music! Don't be scared away by the "saddest piano music" title, it's hauntingly beautiful!

I was hella into Marilyn Manson from 1994-98, and I still occasionally listen to the LP that Rock is Dead was on. Mechanical Animals will always be his best work imo.

Prime time Marilyn Manson is fucking great shit... I managed to catch his last really good tour where he was still doing a full on stage performance. I've caught him live a couple times more recently and its pretty sad... I feel bad for the guy

He played with Rob Zombie like ten minutes from my house this summer. I saw Manson several times in the 90s on tours for Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals, they were great shows. But I’ve seen him recently via YouTube vids, and decided to pass on it this summer. Dude doesn’t have it any more, not like he used to anyway. I also saw Zombie in the 90s, he was sick too. I think I’d feel weird at a Marilyn Manson show in 2019.
When I saw Ministry last winter, my fiancée and I were just standing there kinda near the back, nodding along and enjoying the show, when some kid who looked to be about 20 slammed through the middle of us, knocking into both of us. It seemed like a very deliberate move, as there was plenty of room to maneuver around us. She probably saw how visibly old we are and thought she’d fuck with some out-of-their-element “boomers”, haha. I was listening to Ministry long before she was born, and it was weird. Some people have no chill.

Good move. The last two times I saw him made me not want to go to any more shows, unless he manages to get his shit together.... its a combination of him probably not having enough money to spend on the big stage show, and also lacking the general energy to do it now. He's still fucking stuff up on a basic level, so its not just the lack of show, he just doesn't have it... his recent albums have also been meh.
I've seen Rob Zombie several times, and back in the 90s, but I just never cared much for his solo work. I liked White Zombie, but his solo stuff just doesn't do it for me. I have conflicting feelings about his work in general... his movies are also a combination of great and terrible. Devils Rejects is excellent, but everything else is pretty contrived while still kind of alright
I've never really liked the crowds at these kinds of shows.. bunch of idiots for the most part. At least where I live, in the midwest. Lots of meth and drunkards

Yeah man, I doubt I’ll ever go to another Manson show. I still respect him as an artist, he was great 20+ years ago. I think he’s like 50 years old now, and I can understand why his shows don’t have the same energy. At least he’s not as terrible as Vince Neil. But Manson’s artistry didn’t mature like, say, Trent Reznor’s. He just doesn’t have it any more. It’s almost like decades of cocaine addiction can harm a person.
I made a post recently about Zombie’s movies, where I figured out his strengths: the first three minutes of the movie, and the last three minutes. I guess that’s enough though, because I overall enjoy a lot of his films. Still haven’t seen ‘Three From Hell’, and I’m not very enthusiastic about it, but I owe it to Sid Haig to watch it. Loved that guy.
