Kick ass live jazz fusion from Japan:

T-Square - Live "Farewell & Welcome" (1991)

Quote:

01 Big City 0:00

02 It's Magic 10:09

03 Lickin' It 17:33

04 Little League Star  34:06

05 Little Mermaid 41:38

06  Japanese Soul Brothers 48:33

The first and last songs are especially epic, as is the 3rd tune Lickin' It which is off their album Midnight Lover :naughty: Some really long epic jazz :awesomenod:

Their bassist is a boss, well all 4-5+ of them are amazing but I really love this one especially (they've had a ton of bassists over the years including at least 3-4 steady ones)

The bassist is the guy on the middle right of the album cover making a hilarious face  That's his shredding face :crazy2: Here's a great live video of him tearing it up:

T-SQUARE - Explorer - Session '98

The first 30 seconds are some of the best bass playing of all time :drooling:

--------------------
Don't worry about me, I've got all that I need. And I'm singing my song to the sky

You know how it feels, With the breeze of the sun in your eyes. Not minding that time's passing by

I've got all and more, My smile, just as before. Is all that I carry with me

I talk to myself, I need nobody else. I'm lost and I'm mine, yes I'm free

My friend Jordan likes this song.

"There are times— and this would be a great study for somebody to do—there have been periods in English when there were emotions that don't exist anymore, because the words have been lost. There are colors that don't exist anymore because the words have been lost." — Terence McKenna (The Archaic Revival: 1991)

Here's some super underrated smooth/funky rock:

Jim Weider - Rain Daze

Here's some really funky classic prog rock:

Caravan - Waterloo Lily (1972)

And here's another great tune from them:

Caravan - "Chiefs and Indians"
