Music and the changing seasons

Hey everyone, I'm just wondering if the music you listen to can be influenced by weather/season changing? I find for myself I listen to a lot more black/doom in the winter (typical hahaha) Tho I find it creates a certain atmosphere that sets a perfect mood and feel. In the summer I find I find I listen to a lot more thrash, rock, death metal and rap, and its probably due to the fact that its very active music that can motivate me to go out and be active or party more.
Any of you find this as well?

Niiice, Ive been stuck on Woods of Ypres for the past couple weeks. Theres something about black/doom in Autumn/Fall that brings on such an amazing feeling.

Yeah Modest mouse and nirvana in the fall and winter Zeppelin and sublime in the summer and spring
Just some examples but that's usually how it goes for me. Mouse is a superb winter band... Especially The Moon and Antarctica
I went to college in a VERY cold/snowy area, so 80% of my university time was spent navigating ice and snow, I loved this album for it. Especially at night. I love the icey reverb sound that comes in later in the song.

Nice man, listening to it now and I can see what you mean.
Heres an album I listen to alot around this time of the year. Its almost like the duality of beauty and dark coinciding, creating such a beautiful atmosphere within the music.

Fall is usually when I get more into Type O Negative and Bauhaus. Summertime it's a lot of punk and Pink Floyd. But what I listen to can and does change at the drop of a hat.

It was raining yesterday so I found myself listening to a lot of Ella Fitzgerald.

Haha, no doubt! I always thought "I Know You're Fucking Someone Else" was a nice romantic one. October Rust is the bomb! Have you heard their last album Dead Again?

Hahaha did you know all the songs fir the first Type 0 was all old carnivore tunes that he just used for the album? haha Type 0 Negatives first show was about 2 hours long, in a club of 200 people and by the end of their set there was only 10 people in the club. Apparently they spent roughly 40 minutes playing their instruments with power tools hahaha fuck I misss Peter Steele...
Dead Again was a solid album for sure, its so sad he had to leave so young.. Fucking life of cocaine and perscription drugs and not to mention gallons of wine.

I knew about the Carnivore tunes being used, but I didn't know about their first gig. That's hilarious! Pete was a nut and his sense of humor was great! It's always funny watching the band interviews where they speak of being on tour with Pantera. I'd love to have been there for the toilet papered stage. The synergy of those 4 playing together and touring together was both entertaining and outstanding. It was shitty finding out Peter Steele died. Then the death of Dio a month later reopened that wound. We all gotta go sometime, but damn that was a bummer.

They must of had a fucking time touring with Pantera. Man I wish I could have been there too. Every show was a fucking party hahaha. My friends saw Pantera and I will forever be envious haha. I did see all of Pantera live tho through Down and Damage plan... My fuck Down was amazing. It was totally tragic about Dio too. Parts of my childhood died with them, also Chuck Shuldiners death was pretty hard too. Youre right, we all gotta go but atleast they did what they loved.
