Sometimes, and that depends on whether I want to maintain an active relationship with them or not. Other times, if I'm feeling irrationally angry, I'm just trying to get to the root of the problem, the uncooked seed, and that usually involves somebody else.
i wonder if there is any point in forgiving someone unless they are repentant.. what about trump? he makes me mad but should i forgive him for just being who he is? (a douche)

That's a point that's particularly relevant for me, as well. There is a person in my life who behaves a certain way, and this is unacceptable for me. I would like to forgive this person, but they won't stop exhibiting this behavior. How can I forgive someone who doesn't knock off what I'm trying to forgive them for? Furthermore, I have little expectation that things will change.

What should make you mad is that Trump isn't even a remote issue he's not a douche, he's a persona playing a role in a play. I knew years ago from "The Apprentice" and "The Celebrity Apprentice" that Trump would be running for president. Those shows had him being very presidential, and to tell Dennis Rodman that he was fired after he was in North Korea just smacked of a New World thing. I mean, you don't fire Dennis Rodman, he gets drunk, loses money at the tables, or impresses a dictator. Fucker can do it all.
But I digress, you do sound fucking naive as hell.

Stick a fork in them, they are done.
Unforgiven, too.

i don't feel like at face value the explanation resolves the mind/body problem but rather multiplies it by 3 and takes a materialist stance.. an idealist might say well that's all well and good but where does the nervous system become consciousness? where does the circulatory system become consciousness? etc..
it sounds like that theory tries to graph freud onto physical anatomy which imo is a tricky and possibly fraught project although idk enough about anything to know if it is useful or not
Anything alive with DNA/RNA is conscious following the definition that consciousness is external awareness. The CNS becomes the holder of conscience in the neocortex because that's the section of the brain that governs our sense of morality, wrong and right, rationality etc. The circulatory system plays the role of signalling our brain to process electrical information when it reacts with environmental stimuli.
Pretty much yeah, together the theories are intended to graph Freud onto physical anatomy. When you look at the role and functions of each section they tend to fit together.
E.g. ID is the 'want' and 'instinct' of an individual. The reptilian complex is the intuitive, instinctive, autopilot of an individual.
