Like murderers , rapers, and busting up circus rodeos. clowns kinda wig me out.... funny story....i know this girl who locked her keys in her car. well, she wanted to get the car unlocked before her parents got home and she couldn't because her keys were in it. she lives in a very small community, and luckily there was a cop right down the road. so she went over to ask him to jimmy open her door. well, he was flirting and shit with this woman and when she went over there to ask him to go unlock her door, keep in mind that it is less than half a block from him to her car, he said he would call someone to come down and do it. see, the next town is 25 minutes away. so it took that long plus time to open it. now, he could've just quit trying to get his knob slobbed and done it ,but no! foolish i say why we pay our taxes....sad sad, world

I have a couple of places that were burgalarized and some livestock that were shot over the course of one month, they did nothing but 'take a report'... one report stated "2 shot goats"... pot seems to be the important laws to uphold when the shootings take place within 20 feet of my house...

cops will do that in a town close to where i live. sit on the street, offer you some pot, fake-smoke with you (they won't inhale) and then BAM! you're high and tackled on a $20 deal.

The last time a cop tried that around here, he ended up on the front page of the daily news paper. Big headlines "Undercover Cop on the Beach!" The cops don't mess with the Rasta's... and in return, the Rasta's don't mess with the cops.

Remember when the arresting cop says something to the extent of, "You smoke pot, you lose your car. That's just how it is?" Fucking ridiculous. I think the episode was on again, prompting me to post this.

I saw that one as well, up here in Canada. It made me sick to see them take these people's cars and tell them they could buy them back at auction time.
Fucking assholes.

You see, here in Canada we have rights. Cops can't do that here. And geez, even if we do get booked with an 8th or less they usually just take it, or make us dump it in the woods (if that's where we get busted). American law enforcement is crazy in general; beatings, sensless shootings, entrapment, etc...

mg420, cops can do that in Canada too.... taote, its only entrapment if a cop offers you a deal that nobody would pass up. Like say they said $20 for oz, thats a entrapment. otherwise, they can offer or you can offer it makes no difference as long as its a reasonable price.

thats bullshit. What kind of law enforcement is that. Walking around offering illegal drugs, then busting people for buying it. Its just like having fake prostitutes and then going in a busting some 50 year old dude for solicting a prostitute.. Thats just absurd law enforcement.

I stopped watching that show ages ago! The final straw for me was when there was this poor fellow who got busted for a few roaches in the ashtray of his car. The cop who busted him acted like he just saved the world! Arrogant bastard.

centrum, are you sure the weed was fake? What would they have been charged with if they were never in posession of real weed?
Someone mentioned Canadian law. I can't remember where I heard this, but from what I've heard there is no entrapment defence in Canada.
If two big guys came up to me at night and offered to sell me weed, I might guess they were trying to rob me and were just fronting about the weed (either it was fake, of very low quality, or didn't exist).
If I gave them money, it would primarily be because I was concerned with avoiding getting the shit kicked out of me. In this way, a person might "buy" drugs from a police officer in attempt to protect their own safety, even if they never bought or consumed any illegal drugs before.

Those guys were probably too poor to afford a lawyer anyway. What's really sick and sad is that the whole operation was intended to make some extra cash for the city/state/gov, in a "publicly acceptable" way. The druggies go to jail, the streets are safer, and more money for all us Christian non-smokers. YAY!! We can afford to train more cops!

Last summer my apartment was broken into, damaged, and robbed. when I say broken into I mean the door was actually ripped off, and the frame was ruined. My roomate and I lost about $350 in cash and like another $1200 in stolen and broken stuff. we all got back at different times. There were 4 of us living there, my roomate jb, my friend eric who was booted from his house was staying was staying with us, and my girl friend. Everyone went out early on sunday, we were all back by 2pm and the apartment was only left 1 hour without someone being there. when we got back we saw the door and the cops were called, it took hours for them to get over to us, we filed a report, neighbors were questioned, and the cops left. none of our stuff was ever found, and the cops wouldn't do anything about it. it was almost like they were avoiding us. in the end we were blamed for the robbery kicked out and told to pay damages. we told them to stayed for 4 months without pay rent or damages. they haven't tried to contact any of us so i guess we did get something out of the robbery

Its pretty fucked up.
Putting up signs that say 90 miles per hour is in the same class of selling fake pot.
Thats so fucked up. Most cops are dickheads.
