Supplies in Canada, where to find them?

I'll be starting some birdseed jars beginning of September, and in prep for the colder weather, I wanted to ask what supplies I will need and where I can get them in Canada, west coast. Online is fine too. I have three syringes on the way - GT, Alacabenzi, Cambodian - just looking for the simplest set up for a closet grow.
This is what I had in mind, but not sure where to find the best cheapest options:
Grow chamber / Incubator w/ heater Check valve air filter Air pump Analog multiple setting timer Digital thermometer/ Humidistat air exchange lids for canning jars perlite
Thanks

I'm not in canada, but I can help you reduce your purchase load
-get a pressure cooker (AA 921 or presto 23 qt)
-get a 110 qt storage tote (this is your SAB)
-get 2 storage totes btw 55-66qt capacity (these are your monotubs)
-get polyfil (big box store in sewing aisle-this is your air filter for jar lids)
-3 pack coir bricks ("eco-earth" brand is most common, but preferences and brands vary)
franks 12steps to shrooms ^and follow that. there are more "incidental" purchases, but if it not mentioned in the TEK above, don't get it until you know what your doing

Yeah what are you following? I feel like if you made a trip to canadian tire you would find most of this stuff.
But I'm afraid you would also be wasting your money

Some things on this list are a bit out of date as far as the website goes but still lots of good information that may help:

Hey bud, fellow Canuck over here. I'm just getting started myself, but I have got a lot of equipment over the past few months.
Try eBay, Kijiji, etc for used equipment like pressure cookers, air pumps, lids, etc. If you search on eBay for liquid culture mason jar lid you'll find a guy. If you're looking for inexpensive bulk grow bags there's a guy in Wawa ON that's on ebay, great rates reasonable shipping, search for spawn bag with t filter. Then you have your basics, Princess Auto (various parts), CT (has a great price on verm), local nurseries for gypsum, manure, etc. I recently picked up 55 gallons (205L) of aged horse manure for free.
Anything else you need send me a msg. I know I don't have a great post count, but I'm a solid lurker.
Best of luck.

Thanks all. For speed and ease I plan to just fill up the pressure cooker w 1/2 quart mason jars of birdseed (rinsed before and let to sit overnight before putting in jars). Punch a whole in the lids, polyfill them, throw in the cooker. Spray down the closet with lysol, inoculate the jars. Can I just let those colonize in the closet, or do I need a warm tub? Then I'll pick up the other stuff, but for ease I was just going to put the cakes in a fruiting chamber with perlite on the bottom, spray them down, and put by the window.

'cause they're shit. Have fake 'strains' (varieties) like they're fake 'hybrids' like 'alacabenzi', and shit. It's all just B+ and sometimes mixed with shitty oysters. If you search posts, you can see where Pussy Fart grew spores from Spores 101 and got cubes with oysters on the same cakes. Kits from their 'sister site' mycodome/mycobox are a scam too. You don't want to waste your money on overpriced, overhyped and false advertised goods just because their site looks cool.
I also had some really shit experience with them.
They're shit. Basically.

They've been good to me so far. They let me pick up and it's a 1 hour turnaround. I'll probably stick with them until I get burnt, if I do.

Why do people keep bringing it up then. Let it die a natural death. Other than your comment, the OP doesn't say anything negative about them. Only that they get their ass handed to them every time their name comes up.

Perhaps if he'd fucked you over you'd feel the same way. An asshole's an asshole.
It seems quite a few of us have gotten dicked over by him. I guess you should accept your buddy dicks over people regularly.
And no offense, but you're too knew to even know if a 'variety' he gives you is what he claims it to be, Ken.

Contams and shady practice aside, I hate that all their varieties are just B+. People order Cambo from them but it's really just B+. Then that guy prints em and gives away "cambos" that are actually just B+. It is really annoying and fraudulent.

That said, have we answered the OP's original question? I'll piggy back on that reply and give an alternate Cdn. supplier a go if there's one available. Problem is, if they're not a sponsor here, you can't tell me. That does present an issue for someone wanting to buy local, so to speak.

You can drop that. A user can message a supplier directly and get a legitimate provider to give him what he actually requests. Communication is key. Ask sponsors which would be willing to help you do some microscopic comparisons between spores .

I would worry less about buying local and more about buying quality when it comes to spores. I never buy a variety more than once anyway. I got a dozen syringes with one drop used outta them that I probably ain't gonna use again probably.
