ROLEX gone LARGE

My latest pseudo-aristocrat toys....

Sweeping second hand. Steel bezel / backing. Functional date and glass crystal. Quartz. Charmers!
I've got a few more so if anyone wants one, drop me a PM.
Does anyone own any obscure are interesting time pieces? i.e wall clocks, pocket watches or wrist?
I was once dead against watches and clocks after my revelation 12 years ago that time is indeed, perhaps a great untruth (in contrast to eternity) and so, steered clear of them, but recently I've take up Horology, so my opinion has somehow taken a swift turn.
I think my Dali clock is a compromise of my thoughts:

I'm still going with "time is indeed, perhaps a great untruth" so no time-keeping devices for me.

I've acquired a wrist peice from someone here from the Uk who I've been delighted to acquaint with, so it's very achievable, however the clocks pictured are Quartz movement and are used by watch dealerships as mere 'moving pictures' of the associated products.

'Time is untrue' is still the truth. My heart has just been tamed to roll on with the pantomime.
The horologists and watch makers are still in the undergrowth of the realm keeping the cogs spinning whilst the populous is digitally fed.

There is a modular attachment for turning them into necklaces, right? Otherwise, Rolex has wasted their time making these.

My dad bought me this for my 21st birthday:

I didn't wear it for the first 10 years, I tried many times but it never felt right. I would never wanna be without it now though, been wearing it constantly for the last 6 months. It's self winding:

And feel practically indestructable. Even though I really don't need it, there's something very special and sacred about it. It'll easily outlast my existence here. I can't put my finger on exactly what, but maybe it's that...
-------------------- Let it be seen that you are nothing. And in knowing that you are nothing... there is nothing to lose, there is nothing to gain. What can happen to you? Something can happen to the body, but it will either heal or it won't. What's the big deal? Let life knock you to bits. Let life take you apart. Let life destroy you. It will only destroy what you are not. --Jac O'keeffe

I only see the picture of the back.
Is it a Longines?
Edit: I see it's an Oris from the inscription.
A good watch! The back of a Longines is similar.
Sometimes it takes years to understand and appreciate things.
