Alright so there are several benefits to putting your mushrooms into chocolate...first they store for an incredibly long time in the fridge, and second, because we will be pulverizing out mushrooms into a powder, we exponentially increase surface area and thus more is digested at once giving a more potent experience per dose at the cost of losing some time one the trip.

So what do we need to do this, well for 10-12 chocolates with anyere from 1.4-1.2grams magic mushrooms you will need:

Tea Candles (ice cube trays work well too)

11.5 oz chocolate chips

-A food processor or versatile coffee grinder
-a pot and metal bowl for melting the chocolate chips
-rubber spatula
-spoon
-aluminum foil
-14g Magic mushrooms

Procedure:

pulverize magic mushrooms to fine powder in food processor:

Fill pot with water and place metal bowl on top and heat on medium heat...add chocolate chips to bowl to melt:

When chocolate is smooth add mushroom powder to chocolate and mix to equilibrium:

Remove candles from aluminum trays and replace with magic chocolate:

Set in freezer for half an hour-45 minutes

After they set, wrap in light duty aluminum foil then into a freezer bag for storage in the fridge:

I would suggest using very dark chocolate, 70%+ cacao. As it would have mild maoi effects, milk chocolate has few to none. In all honesty though, I don't think they are worth it.

I always recommend tea, it's quick and easy, and comes on strong. Over the past few years I have been strictly taking tea, and have no intentions of taking them any other way again.

Well then you haven't tried making jello with your tea...  If there's a way even more awesome than straight tea... that be it.

I always do the tea thing with Pan Subbs because they taste so baaddd chewing, even dried they taste like the smell of urine. Cubes I usually eat as is especially dry, chew em and swallow but I agree the tea hits wayyy quicker but takes away from the surprise of intensity, the did I do enough? should I do more? the answer is always yes to more when chewing... LOL

If you want tea to be a surprise don't measure the amount you put in.  That's always fun.  Then you just drink it and by the time you've drank it it's too late to guess whether or not you just crossed the oh shit threshold.

Your chocolate is baking/cooking chocolate, which is usually shit compared to regular stuff. Its formulated to withstand baking temps and is often just cheaper & nastier in general as its thought the bad taste will not show up in the finished product, similar to people using cheap shit wine to cook with. Sometimes the baking/cooking chocolate costs more, even though its lower quality, simply due to economies of scale.

Regular chocolate will melt just fine, no need for small chips.

I've not made chocolates yet, but tempering them seems very worthwhile for storage properties, as well as them not melting at room temp.

Exactly what I was thinking. Chocolates are a great way to store your harvest tho!

You're pretty much limited only by your creativity.

I've been wondering about preparing a lemon tek, and then making jello cups with it. Sure it's possible, but how long will it store without the psilocin degrading? Will the jello preserve it?

Only as long as tea otherwise would.  It's not a storage method really.

You can skip the double boiling method if you want... Nestle chocolate chips in a bowl in the microwave works wonders... They won't look like they are melting until you stir the chips.  Microwave times will vary obviously, but a minute per handful of chocolate usual works well.

I would also note that chocolate will burn in the microwave so run it in 30 second to one minute intervals to keep your chocolate from scorching .

It is a lot easier and quicker than the double boiler, that's for sure.

The one thing this tek leaves out is tempering the chocolate. America's test kitchen has the easiest microwave tempering method, which is just to melt half the chocolate in the microwave in 30 second bursts, and then pour the rest of the chips in the melted chocolate. This gives the chocolate the best crystal structure. They'll pop out of your molds nice and shiny and hold up better if they get a little too warm.

Also, set your chocolates in the fridge and not the freezer. The freezer will cause water to condense on the top of the chocolate, which will then wick down the sides of the mold and cause irregularities in the surface.

Imo tempering is definitely worth the extra hour or so if you have the time. Posted this ( https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/23559829 ) the other day and in it has a good link to the tempering process. i briefly/lazily go into it, but nowhere near as well as the article i link.
