on a positive note the amount of positivity i am reciving on tinychat a webcam chat site is CRAZY There are very few people who are "against it" and they always come across as ignorant or uneducated I was getting ready to have nobody love me and like everybody loves me MORE almost Even had straight cis men telling me how good I'll look when I'm done. 2016 rocks.

I'm excited for you Polly It's such a wonderful feeling to grow into yourself and to be seen by the world for who you are. I feel blessed to have this rebirth after what came before. We live blessed lives to be able to do this.
Fair warning: after a couple years of HRT, you'll likely have had enough of hetero male attention for one lifetime, around the time they start getting really aggressive about it
Hey, are you more attracted to men or women, or both equally? No need to answer, just curious.

Still doesn't make logical sense. You are drawing a distinction between neuroanatomy and body anatomy. It's obvious you are implying that gender identity follows neuroanatomy in which case it can't be a social construct.

Physical problems cause mental illnesses all the time. I have a friend who had a herniated disc in her spine, experienced constant excruciating pain for about a year. She became depressed before she got it treated. Now that it's been treated, she's still depressed, but slowly getting better. There's no doubt that her depression-- a mental illness-- stemmed from the physical problem.
It's the same with gender dysphoria.
I can tell you all about how much happier and healthier I am now than I was a couple years ago when I was pre-transition, and how I'm continuing to get better. But you'll probably not take me seriously anyway, so why bother.

I dont believe that being born of a gender other than that which you mentally identify with is a disease but according to people who believe addiction is a disease they justify this by saying that being addicted to a substance puts an individual in a state of DIS-ease because its a hindrance on the individuals existence. The addiction puts them in a state of DISease.
By this same logic being born into the body of a gender that you find to be discomforting and depressive since you mentally identify with the opposite sex puts that individual in a state of DIS-ease.
I want to make it clear this is NOT what I personally believe at all when it comes to both addiction and transexuality but im just pointing out many people believe this is what the definition of a disease is.

Both equally sexually, but not romanitcally, and I never wanted to DATE a guy. I am married to a woman and we now have a coven!
I've been on the webcam site for almost 3 years and I never really was presenting as a male on there that much so at least online I am DEF used to men hitting on me
I've had people call me a tranny in a negative way and act a bit disdainful towards it, and when they know I won't take their bullshit they start to holla at me! So bizarre. but man I have so many PM's I gotta close nowadays.
Also, I feel the webcam chat is an important pillar of development: it allows me to hear my name, Allison, out loud on the reg and practice taking real time bigotry and bullshit and plus you can't get beat up!

A spine issue isn't comparable to gender dysphoria though. Having back problems is physical, gender dysphoria is mental. Your body is there from the time you're born, your ability to think about things like gender don't come until way later.
If you're happier then that's cool, but I still think your stance on giving kids hormones is just completely wrong

Oof. Okay, yeah, I'm done for the night. I might come back to this tomorrow night but for now I need to relax so I can get some restful sleep. I've got shit to do tomorrow morning.
Thanks for accommodating me and hearing me, pachoo and Connoisseur and Ythan and specialpeopleclub. I really appreciate it. Sorry I couldn't satisfy your expectations for my logic, clock_of_omens. I'll give it another go some other time.

I'm the same way, bisexual but homoromantic. I'll fuck around with dudes but I'll be surprised if I end up settling down with one. I actually think I might want to just date trans women exclusively. Cis men tend to be chasers (ie they like you for being a chick with a dick and not for who you are) and cis women tend to get jealous of your legs for days and play gender police and try to school you on how to be a "real woman". Since they would obviously know better, right?
Get ready for the negging. If you're already getting hollas pre hormones, you're in for a ton of perversely negative attention from cis-het dudes in the near future.
You should me sometime! I'm always down to make friends with other trans women

Yea, "cis women" would know more about being a woman, isn't that obvious? Lol. And wait, you always get on me if I mention patterns among races or religions, now you're talking about how "cis men" tend to be? That's sexism to you isn't it?

Well, Cis-woman DO know more than me, but it depends on the woman. I don't wanna be a girly-girl/abercrombie type girl, so if a girl of that type would tell me what I'm doing wrong I might roll my eyes because she doesn't represent the type of woman I want to be. Cis-men do it with Cis-men too, for instance in my chat room you have cis men who take more pride in being smart than being at the gym so there is even arguing of the same sort among non-trans people. Just as there are many types of girls, there are many types of boys. It would be weird if a goth/punk girl gave criticism to a Abercrombie girl.
The only women who know more about being a girl than me, are the women who I want to emulate and inspire to. Same logic goes to men.

No, cis women don't know how to be women better.
And I'm just describing my experiences. 9/10 times a cis dude is attracted to me, it has nothing to do with who I am as a person. If they don't know I'm trans it's all about my figure. If they do know I'm trans, it's all about a dick on that figure. And they tend to be really aggressive and not very sensitive. It's just not a good time for me. I was never that attracted to men in the first place, I've only been experimenting with them at all because they suddenly started paying so much attention to me, but I think it's a phase. It doesn't seem worth the trouble when I find women so much more attractive and relatable.
Cis women are hard to date too, they're usually just attracted to my angular features and the possibility of making me into the woman they couldn't be themselves for whatever reason. It's fucking weird, seriously.
I'm envious of Polly and Rose, they both have awesome ladies in their lives who have stuck with them through transition. I know I'll find my special lady someday, and ATM I'm pretty stoked on the idea of dating a particular trans woman who is tall and gorgeous and strong as hell.

Personally don't understand why I am the way I am, but I'm pretty sure it has a real biological cause. I have a cousin who also mtf. I have another cousin who's gay. Male femininity runs in the family.

Are hipters even a thing anymore? I never understood how being a hipster works, so they do things ironically and that all they do. But if that's all they do they must really enjoy it right?

I dunno seems like there's always someone doing something ironic that absolutely should not be ironic. Hipsters are more then likely still around.
About the enjoyment I have no clue
