PLEASE for the love of god, either buy without corn or pick it all out. the difference is staggering!

The left has no sunflower or corn. the right one is clumpy, soggy and otherwise lame.
I only posted this because in some post people are all 'i just rinse, soak and throw it all in' and i tried that. never ever again.

I actually agree, it's hard to dry the outside of the corn without draining the insides out too much. Usually leads to me having some soggy looking shit as well. I'm making a switch to either pure millet or I'm going to rye berries. I have yet to decide. What ever is cheapest most likely will be my choice.

I live in an urban jungle. finding 'wild' bird seed took all day. cant find straight milo/millet either. I did rye once when I lived in the sticks. I honestly find wbs to be easier and the smaller grains gives more inoculation points. IME.

Just for the sake of this thread being clear. Milo and Millet are two different things. Millet is VERY fine round grain. Milo is much bigger than millet and also is a round grain.
I use Red Milo (aka sorghum) all the time. I blindly prefer it I say blindly because I have yet to find good rye berries in my area. But, I will say I really like working with red milo. Here is a pic of straight red milo (+ myc)...

Thank you. I ment Milo. The red milo is what I'll be looking for not millet lol. I would have gone to the store and realized I was looking for the wrong thing.
