Yup, I'm on a repeater. Work 6 days and have no time for anything and then on my productive day I get super drunk by 4pm and pass out till 8. Shot my day right in the foot again. I guess I'll try again next week.
I always tell myself I'm gonna go out and talk to new people and have some fun somewhere. I don't know where somewhere is and I end up just drinking for the days grand finale.
I wonder how long my life will stay in a rut of only interacting with roommates, co workers and customers. I've become disenchanted from the magic in life.. I used to have an engine pulling from my insides, knowing where it was taking me in my everyday.
Ehh I think I'm just lonely. I'm sure the shit storm passes at some point? Guess I'll just hide in my sleep and interact with my dreams as my form of entertainment. Every time I have a day off, I just feel like driving away or simply dying.
Do you guys share similar days? Feelings? I'm sure some must.

You should find a new job. You're clearly not happy in your current job. I don't have feelings like you do partially because I love my job. Try to find a job that you love, or at least one that you can live with that doesn't work you six days in a row.

I work shift work on a 24 day on, 4 day off schedule all summer and fall on 12 hour days, but don't work during the winter / spring. Sounds like you just hate your job / routine.
Find some new hobbies. Get out and go for a walk or bike. Get some exercise, ease up off the liquor.

That's crazy. I worked 4 days on 3 days off at 12 hours, and even that was pretty brutal. I can't imagine 24 days on

Ever seen 150+ hours on a paycheque? It is nuts.
I like 12's. Just enough time to do laundry, do some grocery shopping and watch half a baseball game or two hours of TV in a day. Go to bed and repeat. You build a lot of trust with your co-workers because you spend almost all day with them.

I was like that til I got a new job. Some of my friends from that job are still like that, it's worrying to listen to. Do something to break the rut. Going for long day walks really helped me. I'd get up in the morning and just head off somewhere on foot all day, it was so damn relaxing. Just wandering around with my music playing, alone with my thoughts and doing what I wanted, when I wanted and where I wanted. Small way to remind yourself that you're in control of what you do. It also makes it easier to talk to people when you're doing something with your time. People started to join me on my wanders and I was a lot more chatty in job interviews.
