Need help with ID Houston
    #23567319 - 08/22/16 08:32 PM (7 years, 5 months ago)

Habitat:
Found in a new section of my subdivision.  On mulch piles and in grass.  2 separate houses blocks apart. NW Houston.

Gills:
The bottom of cap I guess??  Yellow with purple/black bruises.  One has red on bottom.

Stem:
Thicker ones like a banana, even looks like a banana.  Most are yellow with blue/ purple/ black bruising.  Some smooth, with light layer of skin.  Some have vesicular texture.

Cap:
5-15cm Diameter, reddish brown/ creme brulee color, sticky texture, Some are funnel shaped and the other few are domed.

Spore print color:
light blue to yellow/grey!

Bruising:
blue/purple

Other information:
There are at least 2 different kind I think.  One is more fresh with larger specimen.  The medium sized group is older with some whitening of the top of stem/ bottom of cap - still moist though.  I cut triangles out of all in the pics and all are upside down.  I was unable to see and spores before I picked.

You have a bunch of Bolete mushrooms, not active.

I looked on Rogers Mushrooms and looked at the Boletes. I now think that I have 3 different kinds.  I have the pics all shared somehow.  I took 9 pics.  I read that one may be deadly poisonous on another website.  Are any of these edible?  Recommend to eat?
