First time cultivation, tell me what ya think!

Hey everyone...yes I'm a noon..but I have done my homework...I think lol. Things I've used so far (all supplies was bought online pre steralized): ·7cc Thai tantic (some type of cubes) ·4 brf tek 1/2 pint jars ·2 gallon bag of perlite (don't know why they gave me that much) ·vermiculite (for roll) ·humidity\thermometer reader ·leds, florescent lights ·16qt steralite tub ·giant mason jar (like 3-4 gallons) ·steril gloves ·distilled and spring water ·mist gun So I have 4 brf tek cakes. 1 cake colonized 100% 4 days ago, so I decided I would make that cake a stand alone and have its own chamber, that's where the giant mason jar came into play. I cleaned it with h2o2, steam, soap, more steam and then a final whipe of h2o2. 2.5 inches of damp (not swampy) perlite line the bottom of jar. 12/12 for the light. And I have a small lamp underneath rack to heat the perlite slightly when/if humidity gets to low. Fanning/misting happens every 5 hours by hand. Its been 4 days I birthed my first ever cake, dunked for 18hrs, and then rolled in steralized vermiculite. And set it on a cutout part of a plastic bag on top of the perlite in the middle of the jar.I steralize the closet its in every day. So on day 3 i noticed the white fuzz(pretty happy/don't think its cobwebs),also I'm pretty sure I can see a few tiny heads. Day 4 and there are now white clumps of white fuzz all over the cake pretty consistent. Like I said first time every trying this (already love the process even without the reward). I love research and leaning so I'm open to all criticism and praise.
Also my giant mason jar is air tight, should I the the bottom rubber part of the lid off so it has a little venting other then me fanning?
Current conditions of jar: Humidity 80-90% roughly Tempeture stays at 76-78°
Like I said everyone give me all the input ya can and thanks for the help!!!

They will suffocate in there.
You need a SGFC

there's some single cake fruiting chambers but they're nothing like what you came up with there.
you can use a 2 liter soda bottle, riddle it with holes and put your cake on some perlite(not directly on perlite) in there. then mist it a few times a day.

Agreed shogun hole are needed. On the other hand if he fans and mist ten mins apart should be fine. How are baby sitting this. I have that jar form Wal-Mart. Hold achol like a pro. So no aur flow.

Yeah it is a rather odd setup. But yes I will be using the 16qt tub with perlite for the other 3 cakes that I have (bithing in 2 days) and will also be posting that as well when setup. Do you guys think if I open the top cover it with cling/suraan wrap and put holes in that it would be better idea? Also white fuzz is good right just not when it starts looking all cobwebby? Like I said y'all are absolutely right I know its different just wanted to see what happens and wasn't sure if I put a cake in my fruiting tub before the others would it mess things up(probably already answered in another thread) and if anyone sees anything else bad or suggestions let me know
(Message for everyone) Thanks

No one sold me it, the steralized substrate, perlite, spores were bought online but I came up with the jar idea, and y'all hit one of the main things I was wondering if it would be enough FAE? I fan like clock work every 5 hours,if I fan more and keep the top open for 10 min the mist and close?

White fuzzy can mean a lot of things. High co2, too much water, to little, contams. Thing about cubes is there not picky monotubs with no holes and lid tided a little works just fine even in fruiting. I cant wait to see the pin porn on this one

fanning isn't FAE. FAE is fresh air exchange. You get those from holes in all 6 sides of a SGFC or the bigger holes used in a monotub.

Uhhhh... Doesn't the name imply what FAE is? Replacing the air in the chamber aka let c02 out oxygen in. I don't know what does that besides a fan/wind/compressor/your hand..lol... But correct if wrong but if you put holes in a box and you put it in a closet with minimum air flow it will do close to the same? (I know prolly not as bad as mine lol) constant air cycling is the whole key to it right?

Not... quite.
Imagine you are stuck inside the fruiting chamber and you need to breathe in there all day long. Do you want someone to come by and fan the box, or do you want it to have enough holes to do it on its own?

Sounds like some very expensive pf cakes. I'd recommend the sgfc, along with most people, but I would not recommend drilling holes "in all six sides". At least not the bottom.

Also I will be birthing 3 cakes tonight. This whole setup will be looking a lot more normal to you guys I bet. So dunk 18-20 hours spring water, then roll vermiculite and go, anything to add or its that straight forward? But about the fae that makes sense inocuole! Thanks

kenetic, of course holes on the bottom are important too. Why else would we raise the SGFC from the floor, if not for the airflow through the holes in the bottom? That's pretty essential for it's function.
But for 1 cake, do that soda bottle thing. It seems to be popular for a reason.

Interesting even if you'll never use one, just for the fact of how it works.

Na i have the space for a bulk grow so this is great. Obviously I'm not gonna go nuts till I get my basics down first.
