I use all those things you listed in my soil mix, and top dressings. Neem and karanja are musts for soil mixes, as is kelp. Crustacean shell fools the plant into thinking it's under a fungal attack, so it increases it's defense mechanisms.
You can make a tea from neem meal and soak the soil or spray it on the plant.

I sent you a pm for the neem. Kelp can be bought at walmart or home depot. Crustacean shell can be found online. I'll send you another link, but you can find it elsewhere.

Aren't those ingredients "specialized"? I thought you just mixed cheap soil and perlite?

I know that I definitely prefer aza max over neem oil. It literally destroys any bug that dares to come close to your plant

Neem meal is what's left after they press the oil from the nut. I don't really use neem oil in the garden. I don't have enough need for it or time. If I get chewers I use spinosad and that has worked for everything that has wanted to nibble on my plants. I've never dealt with RSM though.
I am guessing here, but I wouldn't be surprised if azamax is just neem meal tea with a preservative mixed in. Again guessing here. Never used it. . .

Aza max is azadachtrin extract from neem oil. Azadachtrin is the ingredient that is actually the insecticide in neem oil.

A very safe and easy way to prevent the buildup of RSM numbers is to spray water on your plants. The mites hate it.

Never yet had spider mites - but have some neem oil just in case.
