Maybe I'm not as good at this as I thought. Sick plants?

I suppose it's time for me to stop doling out advice, seeing how I can't keep my own plants alive
This started a day or two ago, has gotten progressively worse
Can't see anything on the roots
Is this the time for a systemic fungicide? It's in the diffusae category so I never intend to eat it so I don't care what chemicals it gets. Should I just cut off the head and let it grow a new one? Since the damage seems not to be in the roots?
Also, my Texana is doing something unpleasant I hope it's just thirsty, I removed some of the top layer of soil, exposed a bit of taproot though so I'm not really sure what to do
It's firm everywhere except for that ring around the bottom that is clearly soft.

My Texanas do that also. I think it's normal. You normally don't see the bottom of the button like that because it's usually buried

I would say dry them out. Don't water them for a while. They can take it. Neglect them for a while and they will love you for it
As far as the first loph pic I've never del with anything like that

Red Spider Mite. Abamectin immediately (follow the instructions on the label) and frequent spraying to keep the remaining population in check. The other may just be "folding", it's the way yotes dispose of older tissue without becoming columnar. Keep an eye on it just in case.

no way that shit's RSM?!?! I never would have guessed and I've totally called it out on people's plants before... the only plant in my entire collection?
I know that I have RSM around cuz I've seen them but never on my plants this is suddenly a bit less tragic but still urgent Thank you Z and Barracho

I would also dust with DE. Could keep them from spreading to other plants

Lousy eyes, lots of unwanted experience with those f***ers... r3dz, pick a magnifying glass and confirm it's RSM. They'll be yellowy-orangey with 8 legs.
EDIT: Lousy, but not as much as my avatar might suggest...

lousy
alright you guys enough with the puns
Good diagnoses doc, RSM indeed. it's honestly good news imo, I'd rather deal with that (which there are many known cures for) than some unknown fungus
Is there something I can give to my plants as a preventative measure? Obviously this plant is weaker or something since none of myothers are getting it but I want to be sure

Diatomaceous earth. Dust your uninfested plants. Buy it in the pool section of home depot

You can put it thicker on top of the soil around the plants also. Totally organic wont mess with the plants at all. Cuts the bodies open of hard shell insects

Whatcha guys think about this? Great dude around here Big Bear gave me this advice,
Base Mix: -30ml 100% pure Neem oil -10ml "pro-tekt" (silica additive and emulsifier. Before I used this product I just rocked Neem with dish soap as the emulsifier -1gal of water
Secondary mix components include: Aloe, lavender, Rosemary, and thyme. Basically I chop up a small handful of FRESH rosemary, thyme, or lavender and chop it up finely. I let it sit in a cup of water over night. I strain it in to my base mix and then fill the rest of the gallon up with water.
My schedule is usually every week I spray base mix+secondary and alternate the secondary every week. Lavender is particularly gnarly for mites. If I site a bug I usually douse everything every 72 hours until the problem goes away. Alternating secondary components really helps a lot. Diversity is key.
also this
As for soil ammendments, kelp meal, Neem seedmeal, karanja meal, and crab shell meal all have lots of IPM benefits.
I can't imagine it could since it's so natural but any of these products seem like they could hurt the cactus? I know neem is to be applied at night

Honestly I'm not big on neem oil. I go to a hydro store and buy aza max by general hydroponics. Certified organic pyrithians extract from neem oil and it's already ready to mix into water. I love that stuff bugs hate it

If not a hydro store will have an aza product. There are other companies that make it. It's just extracted from the oil already. Safer for plants

Go to general hydroponics website and read about it. Interesting read. It will break the life cycle, makes babies deformed. Screws with bugs heads makes them forget how to mate

Big Bear sounds like he knows his organic shit.
You sure you wanna add all the organic stuff to your soil though? May have to adjust the perlite number.
