Dreams on Melatonin. (prescribed)

In my experience they're not nightmares or heavenly dreams, they're eccentric, abstract and vividly memorable.
Through dream journaling, melatonin use and practice at being aware of my interpretation process, I've realised my dreams are usually my interpretation of forgotten memories.
I dreamt of things that I wanted but didn't have and memories I've had but never want again.
Is this familiar to your dreaming experience?

I dream of odd predicaments sometimes a series of dream segments with related predicaments. Sometimes unfinished business, sometimes plausible pseudo memories of being with people who are not longer with us. I am usually stunned, hardly able to react, speak, or interact, and if I do interact I often put something in the wrong place and spend a series of tiny dreams trying to fix it. My big dreams are usually series of smaller dreams trying to get something right.

I haven't had experienced with melatonin but get nightmarish dreams with excessive choline. If you haven't tried mugwort it has a interesting effect on dreaming, very colourful.

Melatonin is definitely interesting, I used to take it because of anxiety that prevented sleep (I was totally insane). Didn't work so well, but when I finally got to bed, it was just like you say; vivid, eccentric, ...fast-paced? Anyhow, I liked them.

Do you remember any of the context behind your dreams? Like what was going on and who was involved?
I tend to dream of things I desire but don't have, e.g. I've dreamt of finding bags of drugs and money several times.
