Like, the verm barrier isn't reflecting light after a good mist session, but it isn't pooling either, I'm keeping them damp. But because I have a few more holes than usual, and less than ideal perlite (till tomorrow) perhaps I will have to mist more, more often for the time being?
Fine beads of water all over the substrate, like dew on a spiders web, when they evaporate, re-mist, so simple you could hire a kindergartner to do it for you.

I just never saw better results from fanning, and it seemed like a waste of time, so I stopped doing it. I don't go through the trouble to get moisture content right and dial in my fruiting chamber just right so that I can open the tub all the time and fan it out. I also don't use a SGFC so
ok so you don't use a SGFC when you grow from cakes? or you don't grow cakes therefore you don't use a SGFC? I ask because all the info I have been getting from the board is to always use a SGFC for PK grows...

I don't grow cakes so I don't use a SGFC is what I meant. I just know how they work due to learning about them when I started and there being great resources about it here.

I feel the influx of fresh air is very stimulating to the biomass. You can never have enough fresh air, as long as your humidity and moisture content is maintained at the correct levels.
