Salvia Extract Under The Tongue Is Promising!

Hey everyone, I've been experimenting with salvia lately and after a horrifying smoked experience I tried to absorb the active chemicals through the glands in my mouth. Now I've read many things where people claim that sublingual salvia extract simply does not work but I could never understand why this was the case. I've heard that Salvanorin A is too waxy to be broken down in the mouth, how ever if the fresh quids work why wouldn't an extract? I've tried it before but haven't had success possibly because what I had as 40x was weak as hell and my 10x now blows that stuff out the water idk..but today I took a pinch and stuffed it under the tongue, within a minuet I got a strange body rush. My mind became quiet, or numb. I kept it in my mouth for a few minuets before I had to spit which I did.
After spitting I put another pinch under my tongue and the feeling grew slightly stronger, objects became brighter and I had a weird buzz going on. I would compare this buzz to a dissociating and strong cup of coffee if that makes sense. I close my eyes and focus on my breath and upon opening my eyes, everything in my room either has an extra life to it or lacked some sort of life, I can't tell. Everything seemed fake looking. It was all normal except it had a plastic shine to it. Even in my reflection I looked like a human doll. Saturated to the most perfect and almost fake shades of color. Aesthetically it was rather pleasing, physically it seems draining. I am still feeling the effects as I type. I feel heavy, I feel the energy flowing through my body at a slow pace. It's flowing in mellow waves as the drug washes me away into this fantasy known as reality. I say this because it seemed as if I was removed but plugged into reality at the same time. Salvia is some weird stuff. I am here to confirm that if done properly I am sure that sublingual extract can evoke a full on saliva experience. Anyone else have experience with sublingual extract?

I've only tried plain leaf under the tongue, I didn't take enough but it was strong nonetheless. I have no doubt that such a method could induce a very powerful experience. However, I think I like smoking better because of the duration. I like being able to do salvia and come back relatively quickly.

Interesting
I always wanted to try this, glad to hear it worked out for you.
Next time try to chew on the extract and rub it around the inside of your cheeks and swish the saliva around.

Never had success with extract sublingual. I even did a ISO extraction on a 10x and redissolved it in 151 proof to make a tincture and I barely got threshold effects - maybe something went wrong while extracting . I did however had great results using sublingual homemade tincture made out of dried leaves. It works and it works very well.

Thats strange, maybe the concentration of the tincture you made with extract just wasnt high enough?
How much did you put in each of the tinctures?

could be. I don't remember the exact measurements I used, that was a while ago. Haven't had an extract in a very long time. I discovered that plain leaf or tincture works very well for me. The tincture I make I usually use about 10-15 grams of dried leaf to end up with 100-125 ml of tincture. No need to make more than that since for me a 20 ml dose is quite enough for one trip. Reverse tolerance could be at play as well although some say they don't notice any reverse tolerance I think it is a real factor...

I love salvia, but find it too weak if chewed, and tastes terrible. (I only smoke extracts like 10x or home made, or plain leaf- rarely)
you need to chew 40 to 50 times as much as you might smoke due to lessened absorption in the small oral cavity surfaces versus the huge lung surfaces. rate of transfer is so slow with chewing.
the effect is based upon how much is absorbed into the blood within 90 seconds, it has a very short ramp to threshold effects.
held under the tongue, well, you must have a good imagination, nearly nothing will be absorbed without chewing.

i don;t really like the quid either... too much to chew too bitter for too long... but you should try tincture, the taste is basically inexistent compared to chewing the leaves ; I had very strong trips with tincture.
