Just a bit of back story before we start. I was working when I found these so I had to pick them quickly. There were several others growing near by in similar clumps but these two were the closest to me and the biggest. They must have sprouted last night because I see the location every day, I'll be able to do a follow up tomorrow if they are still there with as much info is get. I also have a ton of photos and can take as many more as is needed. Not sure how many pics I can post but I'll tack them on the bottom of the post. Sorry if this post is a little messy, I'm not familiar with forums.
Habitat:Rural Arkansas delta. This was growing in a well groomed lawn, however the house is in the middle of no where surrounded by fields. Very soft moist dirt, it has been raining for days so it was a little muddy. Not many trees around, but there is a lot of dried corn stalks blown around from recent storms.
Gills:Can't see the gills yet, but I'll hopefully get more tomorrow.
Stem:2-4inches in length, hollow, approximately half an inch in diameter, smooth to the touch, has thin vertical lines down the length of the stem. They're kinda tough, I had to use a knife to get a good clean cut, wouldn't break but they have been sitting for about 6 house so they're not as fresh as when I picked them.
Cap:Approximately an inch, light brown and creamy white, kinda smooth but it has started to wilt a bit so it's getting little wavy lines, like a chocolate chip with less of a point. They have a little skirt of sorts at the bottom of the cap.
Spore print color:no spores yet
Bruising: The bruising is a browish purple. When I first scratched it while it was fresh it was a medium brown but grew darker and more purpley as it sat.
Other information: They smell mostly like dirt, or a raw potatoe. The base of the stems were grown together, others near by were also in clumps. There was also a large partial fairy circle of large white mushrooms about 10 feet away.

Hmmm after doing a quick Google search they don't quite look like the images that come up. What makes you think that's what it is?

You probably can't eat it. I think that because they look like that before they expand. There are a lot of different ones.

Thank you very much for the speedy reply!
I'll follow up with more info tomorrow when I see the others. It's been raining all week so fairy circles are everywhere!
